  1. man that was a long time ago. I saw this on the Game Notes on the Marlins game (D-Train has 6 wins!) ... Byung-Hyun Kim let in a run in the seventh when he threw a wild pitch. He has five in 13 innings. ... wow.
  2. QUOTE(Yoda @ May 6, 2005 -> 06:44 PM) I just noticed that Hawkins has a career 4.82 ERA. he was a starter in minny for many year before he was a set up man. He had the highest active ERA for the longest time. It was in the high 6's before he was moved to the bullpen. The Twins offered him a good contract, but he bolted for the higher money in Chicago. Probably something he regrets now,
  3. Brazelton was real bad. Rob Bell came in in the 4th and shut the Twins down Santana had a complete game for his 5th win
  4. 7-1 Twins Morneau had a HR Mauer is 4-4 with a HR
  5. ok, I read a lot of this thread, but then got tied and decided to post 1. What is/was the 'left handed glitch' I never had a problem hitting homeruns 2. This year, it seems the computer is a bit smarter. stealing bases, better pitching moves, etc. 3. The Build a Staduim is ok. They could of made it a lot better though

  9. speaking of A-rod, did anyone see this in the USA Today today. It was in the Sport on TV coumn -- TV ads for Speed Stick deodorant starring Alex Rodriguez show the New York Yankees third baseman in front of a bank of lights that appear to spell out E5, which stands for third-base error in baseball scoring. While the Internet is abuzz with people seeing that E5, Speed Stick marketers have no comment.
  10. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 02:15 AM) News channels do not practice journalism, just punditry. right on. To get my political fix, I have actually turned to CSPAN and just watch the debates and press conferences. Its much more refreshing, and you dont have spin doctors after them telling you what to think about the event And I agree with the first post of this thread. I have pretty much abonded SportsCenter because they dont show any highlights anymore and all they do is 'break it down' (brought to you by budwieser) hell, even Baseball Tonight does not show a lot of highlights anymore.
  11. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 10:59 AM) My question: When did Green Day get a "boatload of talent"??? I guess they can play, but to say they have a bunch of talent is a bit off, IMO. Their stuff is pretty dang SUPER easy to play. consider what is out there for popular rock music today, GD is pretty talented. haha I totally agree
