QUOTE(Linnwood @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) Is it wrong that I feel bad for the Royals? I don't feel to bad for the players. I feel bad for all the Royals fans... both of them. -

QUOTE(daa84 @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) afeldt is gonna s*** his pants when he looks up in teh 3rd innign when he sees "Due up Widger, Mackowiak, Anderson, Ozuna" he might think he's pitching against the heart of an intrasquad lineup. -
Hopefully we are approaching the point where both parties should set aside their differences and concentrate on making some progress on the environment issue. If three dollar a gallan gas doesn't force the issue more, I don't know what will

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) Bat the Widge cleanup. Its been said time and time again,: but onsidering that Widger was almost done with baseball when the Sox signed him, I couldn't be happier with his production... He's more than you can ask for in a back-up catcher nowadays. -

Ugh...Cleveland is pounding the twins right now. I know its only day four of MLB action, but its beginning to look like the AL Central might be a slugfest between to behemoths in the Sox and Indians -
I wish that McPhail and Reindorf would have gone after marriotti on a different issue rather than this one. There are plenty of things to fire off at that idiot at rather than this.

Sox vs. Indians: 4/4 Game Thread
AbeFroman replied to Timoperezrulez's topic in 2006 Season in Review
Whether you want to believe that GoTribe was just "analyzing" the game or not, his posts were sufficiently inflamatory and cheerleader-esqe to upset a several people. I'm going to go ahead and put him on my ignore list. But I doubt that so many people would have objected if his comments had been generally constructive, time appropriate, or even-handed About the only reason I would visit another team's site would be to ask for information on that team. For example, I don't get to see San Diego play much, so if I wanted to hear something about Chris Young I would go ahead and ask those most informed on the site. I'm pretty sure that rooting for your guy to go 5/5 in a game that is already decided is hardly the constructive posting that we would hope for. -

QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) Uh.. as far as I know, fans of other teams are allowed to post here, especially ones that are respectful (like this guy has shown in previous posts) Just my thoughts though. But when you register in the late innings of a game your out-of-town team is pounding the sox and then subsequently post about how great the indians look, it creates a presumption that you are here for trolling purposes. -

QUOTE(GoTribe @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 02:11 PM) Indians really look great today.. Playing to their FULL Potential. Jake Westbrook sinker looked to be doing wonders on the Sox... Thome looks solid at the plate. If Indians finish this out, looks like a good one tomorrow. BYRD-CONTRERAS??? or LEE-CONTRERAS? i would very quickly post as much as you can... because you won't be here much longer -
