PUT HIM AT DH

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 26, 2017 -> 02:51 PM) Q is good because of his nibbling, not in spite of it. exactly.

Todd has such strange mechanics. It's like he flys open on his lower half then somehow, when he's grooved, keeps his hands back.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 26, 2017 -> 02:25 PM) He didn't touch it. The ball bounced in the stands if you are talking about Abreu's double ah I c.

god we have dumb fans.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2017 -> 10:28 AM) I think Leury Garcia has silently become our starting CF, and Davidson is on his way to doing the same at DH. No doubt, and both have earned it. It's nice to see some of these no longer prospects but still young enough to be around in 2020 guys step up early.

QUOTE (smalls2598 @ Apr 26, 2017 -> 10:26 AM) Today's lineup: 1. Tim Anderson ® SS 2. Tyler Saladino ® 2B 3. Melky Cabrera (S) LF 4. Jose Abreu ® 1B 5. Todd Frazier ® 3B 6. Avisail Garcia ® RF 7. Matt Davidson ® DH 8. Geovany Soto ® C 9. Leury Garcia (S) CF that's like uh, actually a solid lineup.

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 10:31 PM) Well.

if the score holds the sox will have the 3rd best RD in the AL and tied for 6th in MLB at +13, luolz.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 10:20 PM) No hits for Davidson but some really good swings I heard Hawk in my head "he juuuuust missssit"

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 09:57 PM) Really like Omar. He has a career for a long time as a back up He puts together great AB. He reminds me of a poor man's Avila, at least peak Avila.

damn, nice stuff from the pen.

QUOTE (reiks12 @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 09:28 PM) I feel like when we are ahead late we have an auto win bullpen nails I'm having fun watching this team. Usually I'm really grouchy but this year it's almost like house money.

9 more hits tonight and a couple more walks, and Duffy is a solid starter. Good job offense. I am loving what I'm seeing from Leury, I've gone from a hater of his to a big fan. He looks to actually have MLB tools and its translating to production. He's playing a solid CF too.

QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 09:16 PM) Abreu showed some speed scoring from first. he's def lighter and faster this year. Bat is slower so far though.

QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 08:16 PM) Let's go Todd. You are a run producer. Time to produce. we'll take it. He's still way out in front of everything though. Did a nice job finally staying back on that one.

QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 08:12 PM) Deliberate? Maybe payback for hitting Cain. I don't think he was trying to hit the leadoff guy this inning.

TA can really fly. He's fun.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 08:07 PM) Covey is just so bad. Cooper: "throw strikes" Covey : *throws it right down the middle*

what a s***ty pitch.

THE PACE OF PLAY IS A PROBLEM IN MLB

Just flat missed it.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 07:51 PM) It would really help the rebuild if Josh Donaldson was under contract for the Sox. Alas. Wishful thinking.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 07:49 PM) Nice swing by Garcia. Awful send home Gordon literally had the ball in his glove as Donaldson was touching 3B. WTF

STFU Duffy
