Why do Eloy and Robert stand a billion feet off the plate with a wide open stance only to not be able to pull the ball with power middle in? And forget about junk away, they will never be able to cover that part of the plate with their approaches. A guy that hasn't been around the Sox too long like Burger actually has a productive approach and can cover most of the plate while pulling the ball with power.

I'm firmly in middle age now and I've been a big sports fan for over three decades now and I really cannot remember a team that expected to at least be decent that stumbled this bad out of the gate. They aren't just losing, they are not even competitive.
