  1. Gee you mean letting Eloy do his yakkety sax routine half a dozen times in LF didn't endear himself to the vets? I like Eloy but that was horse shit and hit happened many times. Hustle and get the fucking ball in.
  2. Goodbye grumpy old man!
  3. This is the strongest signal yet that "business as usual" is over in the JR orgs. The bulls moves were another strong signal but this is the strongest yet as there are a lot of reasons "on paper" you could keep Rick. But this is 100% the right move Rick was holding this club back from its WS title hopes.
  4. Also, Steve Stone apparently is a mouth piece for the org.
  5. He made alot of money being shit, I don't feel jack shit except jubilant.
  6. I guess it's the offseason on Soxtalk too. Fug.
  7. It's not always easy. A partial tear is hard to see on the imaging and sometimes they will recommend rest and rehab before surgery if it's unclear. As noted, we've seen this movie before where they try and rehab it but eventually need surgery anyways. Sometimes I'd imagine it's "better" (just from a fans standpoint) to fully tear the UCL and just get it over with.
  8. Man seeing the bean that empty is depressing. So is a long winter with no baseball. "People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I tell 'em, I stare out the window and wait for spring". -- Rogers Hornsby
  9. No not really.
  10. He sounds like a fucking neanderthal. https://takeoutyourscorecards.wordpress.com/2018/12/05/white-sox-bullpen-coach-hasler-hands-out-advice-on-pitching-mechanics/ Buer has already proven that pitching all offseason really has jack shit to do with injury risk. In general the Sox' coaching is an overall detriment, not a positive. The players that succeed do it because they have the IQ and ability to improve. This has been proven over and over again when they try and bring in players that have a "flaw" they think they can fix. See Mazara for the latest example.
  11. Loyalty is a low virtue, which is why mob bosses love it. I'm just feeling pretty down about the Sox even though this year was probably a success overall going forward the team will be playing and fighting with one arm tied behind their back.
  12. I really don't care about the power but he can't be below average at 2B and one of the worst runners in MLB. Like he's def down to -5 RAA on the bases now in like 1/3 of a full season.
  13. You don't magically get better at awareness and athleticism at the big league level. He has a lot of work to do.
  14. Find the fucking 3rd base coach. FFS we knew that in D III. And to add, LOOK UP, christ, this isn't some stupid ass little league always run with your head down bullshit, you need to lookup and figure out where the ball is.
  15. Someone told me his baserunning would improve. HE SUCKS AT IT.
  16. WHY DO WE NEED CANCER COMMERCIALS IN THE FUCKING GAME. FFS.
