  1. God damnit. what a play. even if that squirts away it's a single with TA on 3rd.
  2. Man we have a lot of fan policing here. I got a lot going on in my life man sports are just a small part. I can't really afford to put my emotional eggs in something I have zero control over. That said. GO SOX.
  3. I feel nothing right now. I'm not anxious or excited or worried but I am ready to watch Sox playoff baseball. I think the last two weeks just drained all the emotion out of me with this team. We've seen the best and worst of them. They won't need to be at their best to take this series, but they can't be at their worst that's for sure. Go Sox.
  4. Mazara precluded them signing an actual good FA RF it was def an either or situation and they chose the wrong option. Sure it's not technically a FA signing but it was tangentially related.
  5. Hey if you want to stretch it this far we can. There's no defending Hahn's record in FA. I'm not a Hahn hater he's done a nice job with the rebuild but FA is a clear weakness.
  6. The team quit having fun because 1) the manager didn't do a good job keeping the clubhouse on an even keel. They rode way too fucking high on their own supply at times this year. And 2) the same manager that let the good times roll wasn't capable of putting the team in the best position to win on a nightly basis. This manifested itself when the team played better clubs and wasn't hitting the leather off the ball every night. I've said it a million times chemistry comes from winning, not the other way around. That said, it's the manager's job to keep the clubhouse grounded and not let the team get too emotionally high or low during a season while putting them in the best position tactically and strategically to win every night: can anybody say Renteria did that this year? Hell no.
  7. FA continues to be a huge weakness for Hahn. It's a miracle Dallas turned out well. Parrot whatever, took a chance on an established player and in a short shit season he couldn't adjust. That said, the moves in total were less than successful in FA and that's a pretty clear trend. Mazara via trade but you can include him in the pile as he was basically an alternative to signing a real RF, of which the Sox had some decent options.
  8. What? Playoffs were the expectation give how expanded they are.
  9. What a shit sandwich this team is feeding us. Just don't get Anybody else hurt.
  10. I honestly don't GAF about these games anymore. Just don't get anybody else hurt before the playoffs.
  11. he's leaving pitches up and middle and guys are doing jack shit.
  12. Cease clearly as a master of control gets the bottom of the zone respect from the umps.
  13. Fuck Ozzie and Rick.
  14. I think ozzie said that about some shit reliever when he was manager. I could be wrong.
  15. There is no way JR would let Stone trash him like this if they were bringing him back right? To quote ozzie, maybe they are giving RR enough rope to hang himself with. Ojala que.
