I really DGAF about Jason mentioning the wives but the dude is a grade A cornball and when the team starts winning, and they will, it's time to get serious once and awhile. Jason drives me nuts. He's a bad combo of baseball illiterate and goofball. He doesn't do the shtick half as much when he does national college basketball so I'm not sure why he thinks it plays better locally. He's better than old Hawk (so anything post 2012, which broke him), but that's not saying much. I hope he turns down the fucking shtick this year, but he seems to just be ramping it up.

Having a guy that can cover 2B, CF, SS and 3B all without killing you if he has to start there for a month is a very rare and valuable skill to a contender. To be fair to Leury, he's probably a 1.5-2 WAR starter on many teams.

it's just odds, if you're putting up 10 war before 22, I don't care if Luis Robert does exist, Acuna Jr was doing it when Robert was rehabbing a thumb. Anyways, I love our guys but Acuna Jr is special and at this moment is already a superstar. Robert just can be one.

sorry I meant 3B. You get maybe half a win more at CF and as I mentioned Moncada can get on base 40% of the time. Even in his prime Robert will struggle with a .340 OBP. Robert is his own player. So is Yoan. Yoan has already done quite a bit at the MLB level. Robert hasn't done anything and it's not fair to compare them.

2B is also a premium position. let's not go wild acuna is on his own level. robert hasn't done anything in MLB yet.
