  1. I know it's TV, but call the damn game.
  2. Lopez is a battler. He has a great mentality on the mound.
  3. ever play major league baseball?
  4. I swear to god that once you get a label as a prospect it's impossible to ditch. What in any of Lopez's time as a Sox indicates he's a reliever? If anything it's Giolito that screams "stuff might play up out of the pen".
  5. don't think the ump has missed a pitch yet, he's been great.
  6. now that is the perfect time to call the squeeze. fast runner, shit batter.

  11. From the Athletic, Jim Bowden on Basabe: Luis Alexander Basabe, CF, Chicago White Sox Age: 21 Winston Salem, Carolina League .339/.443/.627, 2 HR, 12 RBIs Basabe was part of the Chris Sale blockbuster trade with the Red Sox in December, 2016. He is a 4-tool player coming into the season with the only question being his “hit” tool. However, it looks like the bat is starting to arrive, as he’s off to an incredible start in A ball and if he keeps this up, he’ll be flying up prospect ranking boards because he can impact the game with his speed and glove. Rick Hahn, White Sox GM: “He played most of 2017 with a meniscus injury that was repaired late in the season. Now completely healthy. Early on he has displayed the intriguing combination of power, speed and defensive ability that our scouts thought so highly of at the time of the deal”.
  12. I think it's the Royals pitching staff.
  13. Wait are you telling me I got to watch a victory last night, with Moncada going crazy, and tonight I get to watch Reynaldo pitch? What are these fun things and why are they happening?
  14. #1 searched player on Fangraphs this morning. Passed Baez in fWAR. ZIPS updated now projects him at 3.9 fWAR for the year. That's the 24th best updated projection for position players. (ie given what he's already produced and what they projected he's projected to be the 24th ranked position player at end of year.) He's awesome, and we should enjoy this. He'll struggle again but enjoy the ride.
  15. that's bs. after he missed the fuckign first one and perez can't even catch it. fuck off ump.
  16. wow engel made a nice play.
  17. goodness nice block beef.
  18. stone ripping the kc scorekeeper.
  19. He's on a 10 fWAR pace FFS! Drink.
  20. Nice to be able to laugh about it in a 6-2 game with Yoan having another monster.

  22. speed and power, what a combo in Moncada.
  23. what an weak ass swing for a MLBer. looping line drive.
  24. I think Judge and Yoan are going to break some older "Hawk types" this year. It's a different MLB. Very different.
