99MPH MERCY!

Man that netting. I hope they can find a less obtrusive system for next year it just looks ugly AF.

Not at his price tag.

Too bad Moncada isn't up.

he's had a horrific year there's no other way to put it. Another couple like this and he'll be out of MLB and hoping for a NRI Beckham style.

Thank god the 1B mitt is as big as it is when Jose is over there.

thanks for the out.

totally, it was almost like a gag reflex I had seeing him hit another dribbler.

AJ Reed folks.

Good lord.

human rain delay on the mound tonight for them.

yep. he is a guy that will always be best "effectively wild". Figuring out what pitches fit that profile is critical.

How many times has Yoan come up with a man on since this new move to 4?

And a really nice arm action changeup gets an easy shallow fly out. Great inning. Keep it up please.

Electric cutting fastball tonight. Wow. Can we see this more often please?

I'm already mad that Moncada is seeing fewer PA.

Yea nice to see some command for once.

it certainly appears that way. if Gar is given a new title before camp hits he can join in on the ping pong and fifa.

better promote him just in case.

I heard the Blue Jays are interested in Nick...

Let's try and break up the perfect game, no hitter and shut out before the middle innings tonight eh boys? Lord I hate the new Twitter.

Either through LA or the draft is how it works for good teams. Every team will go through a drought but look how stacked the systems in Minnesota, Atlanta and Houston (among others) are despite calling up a bunch of guys. The Sox won't have the chance to be drafting this high again hopefully anytime soon. They have had a massive advantage in pool money and draft position the last few years. Doing better than average should be expected.

I'll give them credit for not overthinking things with Vaughn and Madrigal. They didn't get too cute and try and play the "bonus pool" game, they didn't take some HS kid that hit 500 foot bombs at a showcase but is 6 years away; they took the consensus BPA and luckily both guys slot in nicely both position wise in the org and timeline wise in the rebuild. Hey, sometimes you just need to not trip over own dick. Good job with those picks but merely not tripping over your dick won't cut it long term.

Hopefully KW and Nick are fairly evenly matched in ping pong and FIFA because they are going to have a lot of time to pass in the "special assistant" office complex.

that was my first thought as well. he gets a pay raise and a new title and one of those little offices the Japanese have for folks that serve no purpose in the org anymore but everybody needs to save face.
