Zimmerman was wounded, clearly there was a struggle, and if there was a struggle, then in any scenario you come up with, under that law, Zimmerman has the right to kill. The only way to avoid this mess is to have the law require him to retreat, and to get the guy with the concealed gun off the streets in the first place.
