  1. Decent effort at redemption for last night by Bruney. Really good job today, just not sure it redeems for last night yet.
  2. Almost certainly a 15 day DL visit then, could be longer.
  3. It'd be really nice if the offense could help the pitching staff out a bit here.
  4. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 05:22 PM) What happend to danks? Pulled after 1 2/3, haven't gotten an update yet, but he was seemingly indicating it was a hip problem before he was pulled. Threw a practice pitch and they pulled him right out.
  5. Well, I didn't figure it would go down like this.
  6. Jake Peavy is on tap to pitch the 5th inning today.
  7. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 05:21 PM) I think i just saw Peavy warming? You could have just read 10 posts before this where I said that Peavy was warming
  8. QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 05:12 PM) Why don't they just bring in Humber and move everyone up a game? I thought that too. My only guess is that Humber was warming up 15 hours ago.
  9. QUOTE (MuckFinnesota @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 05:12 PM) What are the blackout rules? I was wondering why the Cleveland game was being carried in St. Louis and not the White Sox game. "Fox does what it wants."
  10. QUOTE (kapzk @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 05:06 PM) Did he get a SB? According to DJ, the ump blew the call and he should have been safe.
  11. WE THREW OUT A BASE STEALER ON A PITCHOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 05:02 PM) Yeah. Is Lillibridge pitching today? Bruney is back in and biting the bullet for now.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 04:56 PM) I understand how the DH works, I just am not starting a guy with 1 hit against lhp. Id do anything else, Im pretty sure even JP is hitting lefties better. Are we just hoping for random luck that Dunn runs into one? Yes, Pierre is actually hitting lefties fairly well this year.
  14. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 04:53 PM) Id rather have anyone over Dunn (AJP, Vizquel, random fan). Let Dunn try and get going against right handed pitchers, or at least put Dunn in the 9th spot. AJ won't be playing DH while Castro is in the lineup. Not with only 1 backup C. Castro gets hurt and you lose the DH for the day.
  15. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 04:51 PM) Dunn should be sitting against lefties right now, hes just really off. Would you rather have Pierre in the lineup?
  16. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 04:45 PM) Good thing that they have the 6 man rotaton. Presumably this is going to lead to Pena being recalled, but this is a terrible day for this to happen, 16 hours after inning 14 ended.
  17. The Stealth Elf strikes again. He's +2 in runs today.
  18. John Danks was just pulled in the 2nd inning.
  19. Seriously, warm Humber up and push everyone up a day.\
