  2. I had to step away for a moment. The inning ended at 8-1 Indians.

  6. 2-1 Indians as Hernandez hits a bloop single off of Pierre's glove. Peralta scores.

  8. QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 04:24 PM) Kotsay has been good this spring and I think he'll be a solid part of the team, but 5hole? The issue is, especially against RHP...the entire "heart of our order" is right handed. Becksy, Q, Konerko, Rios. The guys who are LH aren't high OPS guys unless Teahen pulls something off. Kotsay sort of falls into that spot so we don't have 4-5 RH batters in a row.
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 04:16 PM) What's up with PK? Not sure, but he's out and was a late enough scratch that they just moved everyone else up 1 spot in the lineup and put Gallagher (I think) in at 1b.
  10. Rios makes the Tribe announcer say "Forget about that one". 1-0 Sox.
  11. Sounds like Konerko was a last minute scratch.
  12. Quentin singles to RF. Cancel postgame show.
  13. Sowers cleared waivers and was outrighted to AAA.
  14. MLB.com appears to have launched a new live scoreboard. No White Sox audio, but there is Indians audio.
  15. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 03:55 PM) the thing about the twins is even with an IF factor they still come to play and always seem in the hunt to win the central every year, they're the piranhas for a reason. Of course, they'll be in the hunt and if they finish 2nd it'll be by 2 games or less, that's just how things work with them. But pretending that team has no questions while the Sox have a ton, when both M's missed a month last year, they have a weak rotation even if Liriano steps up, and their bullpen is a mess, is selling us short to me.
  16. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 03:49 PM) Buster Olney has had a hard on for the Twins ever since he started at ESPN. The guy always picks the Twins so I'm not surprised he says they have the best lineup. The only better way to establish a reputation for picking the right team over the last decade has been to pick the Yankees.
  17. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 03:37 PM) I picked Minnie cause like its been said a million times, there are way too many IF's on this team.. IF rios plays like the old rios, IF cq stays healthy, IF Freddy turns out solid performances and doesnt get hurt, IF andruw jones is legit. Our lineup just doesnt shout "runs" to me. Unless this is a year like '05 where seemingly everyone has a career year, i dont see us getting very far and i see our pitchers losing a lot of one run games. but then again this is why i dont work for ESPN IF Mauer doesn't miss a month, if Morneau doesn't miss a month, if Span keeps playing at a higher level than he ever did in the minors, if Orlando Hudson stays healthy, if the Twins starting 5 doesn't implode, if Pavano stays healthy, if the Twins bullpen doesn't suffer a major letdown, if the Twins don't trade for Heath Bell
  18. I saw this happen on TV at the gym but didn't know who it was other than a woman in an Denard Span jersey. Denard Span hits his own mother in the chest with a foul ball in the first inning today.
  19. Indians put former top 10 pick Jeremy Sowers on waivers.
