ABC Reports Cotts to start
Not to mention it being on ESPN.

ABC Reports Cotts to start
Having to tell a rookie pitcher "you just weren't quite ready yet" is the WORST thing you can tell him. I hope he throws strikes tomorrow.

About as much of a confidence shatterer as it will be if he gets shelled.

Koch and Paniagua sightings
Yes, I saw that. Anyone know about tonight, though? Hopefully it was 92-95. If he doesn't show improvement soon, it's not happening this year.

I'm only 22 -- how old is Neal?- Paulie Konerko
Neal is kinda cute, isn't he?- Sox schedule so much tougher then Twins and KC
IMO, good move by the Sox. Cotts has a much better chance at success against Detroit than he does in the House that Ruth built. Plus, MB wants the ball tomorrow, so IMO you've got to give it to him.- Paulie Konerko
Oh, believe me -- people are negative on here FAR too often (and yes, some do have a personal thing against certain players). But, in that situation, Steff was just joking. Once you're here for a while (assuming you're not someone who's been here before and has changed names ), you'll be able to tell when people are and are not kidding. And yes, let's take it to 'em again tomorrow (on ESPN, no less), and head to Detroit on a high note.- Sox schedule so much tougher then Twins and KC
MB is starting tomorrow according to the Yankee announcers.- Paulie Konerko
Mr Bean. Anyway, I have yet to see you say ANYTHING positive since you joined this board. Granted, I probably haven't read all of your posts, but everyone that I can remember reading has been negative. I'm not "coming from" anywhere -- simply reporting on what I've seen so far. But the Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 games, so let's all get along.- Paulie Konerko
OUCH!!! That fall from the chair kinda hurt... Thanks Clu!!- Do we believe in miracles?
It doesnt. Not this year, anyway. So you're saying we win the WS? I dont make predictions. It just said the sox would get hot that day, and stay hot for the rest of the season.- Paulie Konerko
read his name to figure that one out clu .. hell i didnt have to point it out to ya did i????? The guy is a moron. I haven't seen him say 1 non-negative thing since joining.- Paulie Konerko
Deep-seeded psychological issues that prevent them from being happy in life. Sad but true.- Do we believe in miracles?

A reliever who was pretty darned good in the 2000 season for the Mariners. He's struggled in recent years, but if he can regain his '00 form, he could really help us down the stretch.- Colon in 2004...
With Clemens and Wells likely to be gone in '04 (either via retirement or signing elsewhere), the Yankees are going to have lots of money and a couple of holes in their rotation. They might overhaul the team, but they're still going to have a huge payroll, and I'd be willing to bet Colon will be in the top 3 of targets they will have in the off-season. - Paulie Konerko
