Oh BELIEVE me, the people who did that to him should suffer the same fate. I am a proponent of "an eye for an eye", so the sick people who did that to him should die for what they did. Life is ALL about choice and personal responsibility. Mathew Sheppard made a horrible choice, and unfortunately for him (and his family), he paid for that choice with his life.

Parents need to teach their children to not admire the PERSON, but rather the QUALITIES that person has. Kids should not look up to Kobe as a role model because he's a basketball player. They should look up to Kobe because he's a very hard-working, determined person who strives to be the very best that he can be at basketball. Those qualities are still admirable regardless of his guilt/innocence.

C'mon Michelle, you're painting an ideal image of the world. In the REAL world, people are persecuted and beaten ALL THE TIME for choices that they make in life. All schools have "cliques" of outcasts and people who are different, and they are often subjects of ridicule and beatings. These "outcasts" include the geeks, heavy metal fanatics, and on and on. ANY person that shows signs of being unique are often the target of verbal, emotional, mental, and sometimes physical abuse. It's the way schools are. Roman isn't a follower, he's just a product of his environment.

LOL! Well, when I started to try and lose weight, I weighed 229 (I'm 6'1, so that's not horrible, but I felt very uncomfortable being at that weight), and that was like 2 months ago. In the first month, I lost 15 pounds and was down to 214. Then, I started being bad, and in the past month, I've gone back up to 216 (I was shocked -- when I got on the scale I was expecting to be around 225). So, overall I've lost 13 pounds, and I've been giving it around 20% effort, so I'm rather happy with that.

Why? Because even though they proclaim they are proud of their lifestyle, they are IN REALITY self-hating and come from very unstable and f***ed up pasts. They, of course, will deny that and claim that being gay is "who they are", but the fact is that it's not what they HAVE to be, but due to their deep-seeded issues, they are either unwilling and/or incapable of being normal. Part of me feels sad for them, but another part of me makes me hope there's a hell so i don't have to be around them if/when I go to the big kingdom in the sky.
