You need to get out of the house more often, LOL.
  2. Ummmm...how about both? But, if I had to have one or the other trait in a wife, I'm going for brains. No matter what a girl looks like at 20, they pretty much look the same at 60, and you need someone that you can carry on a conversation with.
  3. There was nothing hard about that call. The ump was right there and got it right. No question whatsoever. I agree, the call was correct. However...had the fan been wearing a Marlins hat instead of a Cubs hat, there would be much more controversy involved.
  4. Likewise, you could say that there's no way the Marlins should score 8 runs with 1 out and runner on 2nd and Mark Prior on the hill. ANYTHING can happen, and that was proved tonight. Yes, the Alou thing might have cost the Cubs the game (which I acknowledged in my original post), but to say that it certainly did is inaccurate. The Cubs BLEW it, plain-and-simple.

Nobody here is good enough looking to be a model.
  6. Killing him is ridiculous, but if it was the same situation in a Sox game and he did that I would be very tempted to beat the crap out of him. If the Sox gave up 8 runs in the 8th inning and blew a chance at going to the WS, the last thing I'd be upset about would be a fan who, in a 3-0 game with 1 out and runner on 2nd, interfered with a flyball. The Cubs should have won that game regardless of what happened on that play. They simply blew it, and have NOBODY to blame but themselves.
  7. C&P from CBSsportsline.com Other fans tossed beer at the fan and shouted profanities and threats at him. A handful of security guards quickly escorted him from his seat, his face covered with a sweater as he walked to a security room. Some fans were yelling, "Kill him!" and "You cost us the World Series!" as he was being led away. "He possibly cost us the pennant, and I want to know if it was worth a $20 ball? What a loser," said Sean Henning, who was sitting about five rows back. ------------------------------------------- What a bunch of f***ing idiots. It's a game, and yeah, the guy might have cost them the game, but kill him? C'mon, that is ridiculous.

Oh no doubt. It was headed right for his glove.
  9. I don't like it. "Random Ramblings" or something like that would be better IMO.

If the Cubs lose she'll probably leave Wrigley field with Mark Redman, LOL.

That ball wouldn't have hit the guy in the face. You CLEAR OUT OF THE WAY and let the guy make the catch (if you're rooting for the Cubs).

What did Jeffery Maier do.......I heard people bring his name up but never knew what he did to benefit the Yankees I think he's the kid who made Derek Jeter's hit against Baltimore in the late 90's into a HR.... Correct. Tony Tarrasco (spelling) was camped under it for an out, and that 12 year old kid reached out and robbed it, and the blind umpires called it a HR.

LOL, fans threw beer on the guy. I almost feel sorry for him, but c'mon -- your team is about to go to the World Series, and you can't do that kinda s***. He's got to know that.

He's to us Cub haters as Jeffery Maier is to Yankee lovers. :fthecubs

    But threads were closed. Hypocrisy.

Oh, people actually thought I was serious. I was kidding, I believe in God but I am not very religious. I just feel that organized religion causes more problems than it solves. JMO and I don't feel like getting in a religious debate There's nothing to debate. You are correct in what you say.

Nice, reallllll nice. Im so glad this is allowed to go on. As am I. This is a good website, but the moment its administrators start trying to restrict what its members can say, it will lose all that is good about it.

Thank you, Michelle. If any of the babies on here can't handle the truth, stay out of the thread. And it's funny, but the people that were being "attacked" continued to read the posts. That tells me that either 1) it wasn't bothering them, and/or 2) they've learned to accept reality. Limiting what someone can say = bulls***.

The truth isn't always "clean", Jason.

    LOL, psycho.
  22. People are sick of lifetime politicians who act like robots and don't get the job done. First it was Jesse Ventura in Minnesota, and now it's Arnold in CA. All we need is for Carl Weathers to become a governor, and we'll have 3 governors from Predator.
  23. clujer420 replied to The Beast's topic in SLaM
    Labels suck.
  24. Time will tell, but I believe he was the best choice. CA needs a change, and hopefully Arnold will provide it.
