Lost in all this madness is the fact that thru 4, May has thrown 79 pitches. If we can get a couple more baserunners next inning, I think we'll chase him.
It's crucial that MB shut them down this next inning. Don't want to lose any momentum.
That bunt was ugly. Not saying it wasn't successful, I just doubt he meant to bunt like that.. I'll take it, but its really more luck than good bunting.
Nobody said it has to be pretty. I'd rather have ugly efficiency than fundamentally sound failure.
Did we not have a successful sac bunt in the 1st inning?
We just need to produce with RISP -- that's not exactly considered "small ball". "Small ball" is get a guy on 1st, steal 2nd, bunt him to 3rd, sac fly.
LOL, the Angels are out of it, but if you're talking about next year, yes, Glover may help them. Fact is that here, he didn't do much of anything. This trade probably will end up being a wash. Hopefully Scott can perform well for us.
I've got ESPNEWS on, and I don't see anything about it on their ticker. Maybe it just happened 2 seconds ago and they haven't had a chance to update it yet?
Yep. Between the "regular" Disney movies (like The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc), and Pixar (Toy Story, Monster's, Inc, Finding Nemo), they are without much doubt the best movie makers in the business.
Everett = .247 vs. lefties, and 1 for 2 this year vs. May
Rowand = .293 vs. lefties, and has 3 HR in his career vs. May, with a SLG of over 2.000.
This move makes no sense, but maybe JM knows something we don't.
I'm actually starting to hope the Sox sign Jose this off-season. I think he brings a lot to this team. Now, that's assuming he'll take less money to stay here, and that of course remains to be seen.
Which game am I thinking of, didn't Koch blow a 6-4 game for a 12-6 loss in the first series.
Yep, we were up 6-5, and Koch allowed all 6 baserunners to reach, and we lost 12-6. :puke
That was the 3rd game of the series.
Ah, just admit it's you
we all know you're madly in love with HSC.
Just profess your love and get it over with
And that love will be consummated in a few short days.
Yeah im all freaked out about it. Now i got 2 reasons why i want the sox to win badly.
IMO, baseball is not the sport to bet on. When you bet on a game, it adds a lot of excitement to it, but baseball doesn't exactly lend itself to sitting on the couch, getting drunk, and cheering while watching it. To me, betting on football and basketball is much more fun.
I bet on it strictly for profit. Im not even gonna watch it.
WTF? Will you have the ability to watch it? If so, why wouldn't you watch?
Cuz id get too pissed if they were losing.
How much $ are we talking about?
