I think the way to "be good at being gay" is to have the ability to deflower a former straight guy without causing his colon to hemorrhage.
-
I wear them for 9 hours the first two days, 12 hours the next two, and then as much as I want. Soft lenses, Heads. 9 hours? WTF? When I got mine (granted, like 5 years ago, so maybe things have changed), I think he told me to wear them for about 4 hours the first day, then 6, then 8, then as much as I want. Oh well. I guess all I can suggest is that if your eyes are tired, take em out for a while.
-
No doubt they're soft. Nowadays, the hard ones are obcelete. They fall out if you're not careful.
-
Yes. Didn't your optometrist tell you to only wear them for a couple of hours today, and increase it each day? That's what you're supposed to do -- otherwise, your eyes are gonna get tired really fast.

Nobody's picking on you, cwsox, or any other homosexuals. It's just your defensiveness that's making you think you're beign picked on. Asking someone to be honest and upfront is not "picking" on them.
-
I respect that you admit it. I dont care whether you are straight or gay. What i care about is the hypocrisy of some people. You do not seem to be one of them. My point is if you are who you are, be proud of it and admit it. You did that and i respect that. Just so you know, Homosexuals are not the only group who gets picked on or beat up. Ditto.

Can someone briefly explain to me exactly what a "simulated game" is. I've heard that term used so many times, but I've never really known what it meant.
-
Gladly. You never have anything meaningful or important to say anyway, so skipping over them will not be a problem at all. Lay off the booze (or whatever drug it is that has your coordination so f***ed up that you can't type), and perhaps then you'll have something intelligent to say. Thank you.

If that's the way it is every night (and not just hyped up because they knew they were being watched), it's an extremely fast-paced job, and I now have more respect for what they do. It's by no means easy.
-
LOL. Guess it was too good to be true.

Not at the asking price Baltimore seems to have. Although, who would have thought we'd get Bartolo Colon?

As always, you are factually wrong. People have come out here. And find it in the archives your own damn self. People may remain to preserve their privacy because of people like you, or because it is none of your business, and you have no right to make that demand on others. So take your factually untrue "Not Once" and put it where you may amuse yourself for the evening. Um, he said he's never seen it. He didn't say it's never happened.

It would be virtually impossible to turn Schoenweis into a starter this late in the season. I think someone pointed out that he hasn't gone more than 2 1/3 IP all season long. And like KW said, they got him to be in the 'pen, and perhaps they'll give him a shot at a starting spot in 2004. I'd rather promote someone from AAA to start (or maybe trade for a starter), release Rick White, and then move Wright to the bullpen. That would be the best thing IMO.
-
I don't think we can just send him to AAA. I think he's been in the league too long. He would have to clear waivers first, and someone would probably pick him up. That's what I'd do -- just try to send him to the minors, and hopefully someone will pick him and his contract up. If not, just release him and cut your losses. Thankfully, he's "only" making like $500,000 or something like that, I believe.

This is old news, no? I remember hearing that like 2 weeks ago.
-
Like Jim Fainter (I think it was him) said, they can make room for him -- it takes no time at all. And I like the idea of adding both to the team, and sending White out of here and Ginter back down to the minors. Good suggestion.

His career pays him millions of dollars a year. And I'm not gay (unlike some others on here), but Rick is a good looking guy. His movie career..?? Ummmm... no it doesn't. He's only done cameo's. And here's they are: 2003 Holes 1999 Collectors 1998 The Men of Alayé: The Hottest Black Men in America, Vol. 1 Never heard of any of them And it wasn't a shot at his looks.. it was a shot at how "stars" think they're too "pretty". I wouldn't consider him to be stuck up like that.. but I could be wrong. Rick could very easily have a successful movie career if he wasn't a player in the NBA. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he went on to do that after he retires from the Lakers. He's got a very camera friendly appearance, and he seems to be a very charming, well-spoken man. If only more people in Hollywood could say that...

Still class 3 sexual assult according to the state of Colorado. I thought I read somewhere that it was rape... Class 3 sexual assault in CO = rape. It's the same thing, just different wording.

That is correct. Kobe "only" faces life in prison, so the Mexican gov't would likely be cooperative if he were to flee -- but that won't happen. That's why he was granted bail in the first place -- he's a "low flight risk", which means he's unlikely to run and hide. The reasoning behind that is he's such a big star that it would be virtually impossible for him to disappear, whereas Joe Blow could do it fairly easily.
-
No...Kobe is going to play, unless something weird happens. The season starts in November, and the trial likely won't start until January or February. He maybe could even play during the trial (I don't know if the defendant is req'd to be in court or not), but that likely wouldn't happen -- it would look bad.

I have "done nothing to cause trouble". Yes, please don't reply to my messages anymore. It's exhausting trying to decipher WTF you're trying to say half the time anyway, so it'll save me the trouble. Thank you.
-
Umm...a garbage man wouldn't spend the waiting period in prison, unless he couldn't afford the bail. The bail was "only" $25,000, so pretty much any person could afford that (since bail bondsmen only make you pay 10% of it, and they put up the other 90%, I believe). Kobe is not getting preferential treatment in that respect, unless I am way off base.

Leykis is a douche bag. He's been in trouble with the law before for beating his wife. How about you get your facts straight before you slander somebody? The charges were dropped, and the thing never even went to trial. Tom and his then wife were both drunk, and they got into a shouting match. She called the police, and you know what happens when a wife does that -- the guys gets arrested EVERY-FRIGGIN-TIME. Do your research before spouting off on things that you obviously know nothing about. haha ok he's not a douche bag, you're right. he only said the rape victim's name on the air with no reservations. here's your goddamn research. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/leykis1.html Leykis is a deuche. Not only did he say the name and all that other crap but he was basically ripping her on the radio show. A buddy of mine was listening to it when I was in the car with him and I swear if I was that girl I'd kick Tom's ass. If people can rip Kobe (who may very well be innocent), why can't they rip on the "victim" (who may very well be full of s***)? Seems that they are equal. I'm sure Tom will apologize to the girl if she is telling the truth. Will those who are ripping Kobe apologize to him if he is proven to be not guilty? Highly unlikely. But Kobe is in the public eye already, so it's OK to rip him a new asshole left and right, right? I think people should just shut up about the entire damn thing when it comes to laying accusations on one or the other until the damn case is settled. There is so many conflicting reports thats its freaking ridiculous. Instead of making judgements people should just wait. And I don't find it proper to rip on a girl who could of been raped and beaten or whatever else. If she ends up making this crap up then I'd have my rant of how stupid she is and how she wanted fame, fortune, etc. I also haven't ripped Kobe. The only thing I've said is I'd be dissapointed if he did it cause he seemed to have his head on straight and it just seems like a rare trait out of most NBA players and other sport stars. I have said that Kobe was a fool for cheating on his wife (He admitted to that). Everyone is entitled to their opinions though. Its just if I were raped and it actually happened and all I heard was s*** on the radio of people calling me a whore, etc then I'd be really f***ing pissed. Just like I'd be pissed if I were Kobe and people were calling me a rapist if I knew I never did it. Fair enough, and I think that's the stance everyone should take. Just wait and see what happens.
