Fox was a pretty darned good player for Boston before he came to the Lakers. And Fox is one of the best defensive small forwards in the NBA. He's got good shooting range, and he's a hard-nosed player who isn't one of those players that's afraid to get down and dirty. Fox is not at all a cheap-shot artist -- it was Doug Christie who started that "fight", and IMO Doug is the pussy. And he does play basketball -- he's a role player. He's been a very important part of the Lakers' 3 championship seasons. Although, since you probably only watch the Lakers a few times a year, you wouldn't know that, would you?

Why would you hate Crede more? He's not the one that rejected the deal. That makes no sense man. If anything, you should hate KW more, but not Joe.

I don't know why they haven't already started. There's virtually no way they're gonna overtake both us and KC. They're playing awful baseball this season. Considering they won the division last year and came into '03 with pretty much the same team, you'd have to say they're one of the top 2 or 3 disappointments in baseball.

The only thing the family can do is sue her for emotional distress or something like that, but it's likely that someone who would do such a mean thing doesn't have money, so she will probably get off the hook completely.

And based on where pitches are they tell the pitcher, OK that guy singled off of you, now you are pitching to such and such batter with guys on first and second and one out. That's weird. It gives you a chance to see a guys stuff, without risking injury to hitters fielders, etc, and having them actually in a game. It is strictly an evaluation tool, that is usually used to rehabbers. Oh I know, but I think it's weird that they say "OK, that would have been a single" or whatever. A pitch right down the middle can be swung through, and a pitch a foot out of the zone can be hit out of the park. That's the part I find weird, the "playing god" part, saying what would happen.

I think you guys will like Glover, but he's a big step down in your pen. The pen is awesome. I go to like 20 games a year and I noticed Scho's velocity is way up this year from last year and he's been dominant this month out of the pen. I think the Angels gave up on him too soon, but I have no idea what others thought. I know my friends and I (They are all big Angel fans too) always liked him. Either way I wish the Angels the best of luck, but they need to get 2 starters in there and they at least got rid of one of their problems (Appier). The Angels are finished for '03. We would be too, but we're in a weak division. Unfortunately for the Angels, they have 2 very good teams in front of them, and their chances of catching the Red Sox/Yankees (the likely wild card winner) are slim and none. According to ESPN's sources, prosecutors also believe that Bryant intentionally deceived police officers and that his statements to them were inconsistent.
