LMAO, if PK would have actually ran harder, he could have had a 2B on that ball, and he would have just been a triple away from the cycle. Oh well, sorry Tim Crotch.
Paul Konerko for the cycle,
I think it should be based on how hot of a chick you could get. Like 0-100 posts could be Rosie O'Donnell, and all the way up to someone like Tiffany Amber Thiessen (she is f***ing hot) or Carmen Electra (also f***ing hot). I think that'd be funny.
If we can pick up Roberto Alomar and Carl Everett in 1 night, we sure as hell can pick up 2 relievers in 1 night. Besides, we've got 2 more days until the trading deadline, so there's no real rush.
I'm pretty confident that we'll win this game, but we don't want to allow them to get back in it and allow them to have some momentum going into tomorrow's game. 1 out, 2 on.
From CBSsportsline.com
"Right now, our primary need for him is in the bullpen," White Sox general manager Ken Williams said. "He's not stretched out enough to go into the rotation."
That was NOT a play you can expect any 2B to make. Those are the plays that if they make, they are great...but it all turns out for the best with a little 4-6-3 action.
What does his position in the field have to do with his .280 OBP? And I have plenty of patience -- but to call him a stud is pretty silly, especially with the way he's performed so far this year. Hell, even last year his OBP was horrid (somewhere around .320), but his power numbers made up for it.
No...but I expect better than a .280 OBP from a "stud" 3B. His HR's and D are just fine...but I'd like to see a few more timely hits (like the HR tonight) and walks.
