Killing him is ridiculous, but if it was the same situation in a Sox game and he did that I would be very tempted to beat the crap out of him. If the Sox gave up 8 runs in the 8th inning and blew a chance at going to the WS, the last thing I'd be upset about would be a fan who, in a 3-0 game with 1 out and runner on 2nd, interfered with a flyball. The Cubs should have won that game regardless of what happened on that play. They simply blew it, and have NOBODY to blame but themselves.

What did Jeffery Maier do.......I heard people bring his name up but never knew what he did to benefit the Yankees I think he's the kid who made Derek Jeter's hit against Baltimore in the late 90's into a HR....
