  1. Poor Contreras. He's getting the same BS treatment he got a lot last year. He pitches out of his mind, but the offense doesn't score anything for him or the bullpen blows it.
  2. I'm really starting to hate Uribe. This guy has to be benched. I don't care about his defense if it's only for a week. He absolutely needs to get it through his head that it isn't his job no matter what. He s-u-c-k-s so much at the plate. How can a professional baseball player look as bad as he does?
  3. What's his pitch count? Ah, thanks, LCR. It's hard to believe he had near 60 after 2 IP.
  4. I think a lot of how boring that place is rubs off on Hawk and DJ. It seems like there's a lot of silent pauses for them, too.
  5. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 27, 2006 -> 04:13 PM) Imagine being there. Its like a church in there. No music in-between AB's, nothing in-between innings. We felt so weird cheering in there.... They really don't play music? I hadn't noticed, but that might be one of the reasons it feels so boring.
  6. Man, the games in Toronto are so boring. It just feels lifeless.
  7. Seriously, why can't they bench Uribe for a few games just to get it through his fat head that he has to get his s*** together?
  8. Alright, we need an answer for CF. Mackowiak really is awful and he just showed it, but BA can't hit at all. That's a f***ed up situation.
  9. It's a good thing that Thornton is getting some confidence because we're going to need someone to replace the absolute lack of balls shown by Politte in every outing. That guy's a pussy now.
  10. If we lose, you can all blame this game on me, Kyyle23, and juddling because I'm pretty sure the White Sox never win on our birthday.
  11. Uribe has a nice spot on the bench waiting for him.
  12. Yeah, that Pods play wasn't good. He seems to do that quite a bit. 2-0 to Overbay.
  13. I'm still not happy that there's no Gambit in this movie. I haven't see it yet, though. One thing I'm glad about is that they have Beast in it.
  14. That all seems exactly right. Good job, MLB. Hopefully this little break will do for BA what Crede's break did for him last year.
  15. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 26, 2006 -> 07:27 AM) Wow, you guys just missed having the coolest birthday day of all time by JUST ONE DAY! But a mighty fine birthday to you all just the same! Man, I don't know about that. This is a pretty sweet trifecta we have here Thanks, all.
  16. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ May 25, 2006 -> 10:47 PM) The Astros stole 7 bases on LeCroy. This forced Robinson to pull LeCroy out IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INNING! After the game, Robinson comepletly broke down crying because he felt that he severely embaressed his player. IMO, Robinson's crying made the siatuation much worse. Wow, that really does sound embarrassing. But hey, at least LeCroy is on a team. I didn't even realize he signed anywhere in the offseason. What inning did he get pulled in? 7 SB's is ridiculous.
  17. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ May 25, 2006 -> 10:40 PM) Did anyone catch one of the most horrible performances by a catcher ever by Matt LeCroy? Frank Robinson had to take LeCroy out in the middle of the inning. Robinson then broke down crying in a press conference after the game because of the situation. What happened?
  18. QUOTE(Brian @ May 25, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) Proof that the White Sox do NOT Catch All That picture makes it look like JD took a line shot off the face.
  19. I find it incredibly hard to believe that the Royals are last.
  20. QUOTE(JimH @ May 25, 2006 -> 04:52 PM) I haven't checked the numbers but I think the Tigers are, what, 26-5 in their last 30+ games? They will not keep up that pace. They are a good team, much better than they've been but they'll come back to earth. I'm sure they're happy in 1st place for now, but can you imagine how frustrating it must be to be on that kind of tear and only be that far ahead of the 2nd place team?
