  1. The Sox have gone through the order twice, and Rowand and Crede are the only ones without a hit so far.
  2. This is the perfect time for Crede to prevent himself from going into a slump.
  3. Uribe walks with 2 outs. The Sox are really making this guy throw a lot of pitches.
  4. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:00 PM) Ok .... I've thought of another Sox-Jays trivia question. Who was the Toronto ace that tried to make a comeback with the Sox? I was gonna say Ken Hill, but then I remembered he was on the Expos and he wasn't an ace.
  5. That's 45 pitches through 2 innings for Garland. This is strange. I mean, he's not Cuban, is he?
  6. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ May 6, 2005 -> 04:04 PM) theirs no oath It was a joke.
  7. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) You're getting greedy now. Just gimme a W Yeah, you're right. I feel like a Yankee fan. :puke I need to go take a shower...I feel filthy.
  8. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:48 PM) Another quality start by Garland, and we don't have to worry about it. But I'd still much rather see the Sox continuing to smash these guys along with a great Garland performance.
  9. Lilly's out, I just don't want to see another Ledezma-esque performance from whoever's coming in to relieve.
  10. I guess KW was right when he said Tad's power would come with time.
  11. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) He did. I'm using gameday. You'll have to forgive me for being a little behind.
  12. QUOTE(BuehrleTheAce @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:42 PM) I know, that is pretty annoying. On the upside though, I'd rather have staggered slumps and hot streaks than everyone streaking or slumping at the same time. It balances the team out. I'm just glad PK seems to be coming out of his slump finally. Oh, I have no problem with that. Just making a joke. And way to go, Iguchi!
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) Crede had hit hot strech, thus deciding to take the rest of the season off. Na, this team has a rule. It states that at least two hitters must be in a slump at any given time during the course of the season. Since JD and PK seem to be heating up, Crede is merely following orders and going into a little bit of a funk. Everett is also doing his duty. As I write this, Pods walks. Let's see another steal.
  14. Well, that's a 24 pitch inning for Garland. I hope he settles down. How does his control look?
  15. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:22 PM) How about a 3 minute 8 pitch bottom of the 1st. That's not gonna happen. Garland walks Catalanotto.
  16. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:20 PM) By the way ... That's 30 in a f***in' row! The more I think about that record, the more I'm impressed by it.
  17. Aaron K's, but the Sox put 2 on the board in the top of the 1st.
  18. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:17 PM) 2-0 Haha, that avatar is hilarious.
  19. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 7, 2005 -> 12:15 PM) I say Pods should steal third now with a lefty pitching and Carl hitting righty. Or not.
  20. I say Pods should steal third now with a lefty pitching and Carl hitting righty.
  21. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 6, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) GIMMIE A HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Hey, Timo! :finger Hey, Zaun, Koskie, and Catalanotto! :finger :finger :finger
