  1. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) Widger's 3rd hit of the day. He's really been a big surprise.
  2. Do you guys think Cotts will pitch the 8th? Or do you think that someone might come in for the old 2-inning save? That is, considering the Sox don't score any more runs.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:29 PM) HE GONE, 2 DOWN. Neal made Koskie take one ugly swing. Phew, that guy scares the hell out of me every single time he's up.
  4. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:26 PM) No. They hit a couple of shots. Just atom balls. Oh, ok. I'm basing this on gameday. I should probably hold off before I just to conclusions like that.
  5. I think the offense has already decided that this one is over.
  6. I'm really scared to have Cotts go back out there for another inning or two. With the way he walks guys, that 4-run lead can get erased really fast.
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:20 PM) 2.38 now? Well, 2.42. I'll still take it!
  8. Yikes, Garland's ERA jumped a full point today.
  9. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:17 PM) Jon departs, rough outing. His next start is going to be big to see how he can bounce back from his first tough start of this year. I was really hoping he would just have a 1-2-3 inning and leave on a positive note, but he gives up a homer to Russ Adams (?!).
  10. Damn it. This is a terrible outing.
  11. Garland was bound to have an off-day eventually. It happens to the best of them. Good thing is that he's still in line for his sixth win of the season and his ERA is still only 2.25. Bad news is that I'm still not confident with a 5-run lead with Cotts on the mound. And who knows, Ozzie might send Garland back out there. He's done stranger things.
  12. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:03 PM) Well it's not every day you see neil patrick harris in someone's avatar. Just trying to be funny.
  13. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:03 PM) That was a stupid play by Hillebrand. What did he do?
  14. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:00 PM) Your avatar scares me to say the least. Scared of Doogie Howser, M.D.?
  15. This is the last guy I want to see batting right now.
  16. Thanks for explaining. You guys are really great at play-by-play. It's almost better than actually watching a game...almost. And Iguchi has just been awesome. I couldn't have asked for more from that guy.
  17. QUOTE(DABearSoX @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:37 PM) its the 4th inning and we have 10 runs.......how bout that offense..... Is it me or does the team like to put up some runs for Garland? I think we're actually seeing the offense heat up. This team could get even more dangerous than before.
  18. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:38 PM) My away message for the past month... White Sox > your team Haha, that's awesome.
  19. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:43 PM) Iguchi is one SMART baseball player. Could you explain what happened? I can't wait until I can actually watch some games and not have to use gameday.
  20. That's what I like about Garland. He got behind Hinske 3-0, came back, and got him out.
  21. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:38 PM) He's saving them for when we really need them. I think he's going to have a few more chances today, anyway.
  22. Crede's the only guy without a hit today.
  23. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) The Sox franchise record for SB's in a game is 4, so Pods is now in our record book. I think he's already stolen 4 in a game this season. I believe it was in KC.
