  1. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) Yah but personally I think Calhoun is the best RB Wisconsin has had in the last 7 years, and that includes Dayne, Bennet, and Anthony Davis. I also would say that Sutton and Maroney are better than Hart. I don't think Sutton is better and Maroney=He Gone. Sutton has a problem with fumbling the ball. He is an explosive runner but I don't think he is as proven as Hart. Maroney was the best in 05 but he entered the draft. Mike Hart when he was healthy gained 626 yards in 5 games. He is an impact player. He also hasn't fumbled the ball in like 363 rushing attempts.
  2. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) If smith didnt take the money, there is no way they dont beat Texas. Hart being the RB in the big ten-ha! who is better. Wait i guess you hate Michigan enough that you can't recognize that they have a very very good player. Hell Troy Smith is probably the best QB in the Big Ten.
  3. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:56 PM) Mike Hart plays defense? That was the only way they were stopping Calhoun. As for the rankings, they are just nonsense. The top 3 Big 10 teams won, OSU almost beat Texas the best team in the country, and yet the Irish are ranked 2? Dont believe the hype. SB there was a key fumble that led to a Wisconsin scoring drive. Mike Hart never fumbles the ball. Also he would've given them more of a running game against Wisconsin which probably woud've led to more points.
  4. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) Yeah, and if the cubs were healthy they would win the world series. Mike Hart is not the difference maker you make him out to be. Top ten they are not, top 25, maybe. Mike Hart is the best RB in the Big Ten. If you didn't see the difference between Michigan when they had him 100% healthy in the MSU game and the Wisconsin game where he didn't play you are blind.
  5. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 01:19 PM) Unless the Notre Dame defense magically finds a bunch of starter calibur players with speed, they aren't going to be the #2 team in the nation next year. I think West Virginia might be. Pat White has to improve as a passer but if he does that look out.
  6. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 01:08 PM) Typical Overrating of Michigan. They ended up unranked this year, and somehow are going to be in the top 10?? Joke. wasn't it 2001 when the Buckeyes finished 7-5 and were ranked 12th the next year. You probably didn't say they were overrated at the time did you. That team went on to win the National Championship. So don't discount Michigan. Plus Ohio State is going to lose a ton of defensive talent next year and that will hurt them.
  7. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 01:08 PM) Typical Overrating of Michigan. They ended up unranked this year, and somehow are going to be in the top 10?? Joke. let's look at fairly. Yes they stunk however they didn't have Mike Hart for most of the season at 70% health (whether you like him or not is an impact player and one of the best RB's in College Football). If they had Mike Hart they might of won the Wisconsin game and won the Notre Dame game. The O-Line was banged up with a ton of injuries. If they remain healthy and the defense continues to progress they will be a top ten team next year.
  8. SI's top ten for next year by Stewart Mandel (very good college football reporter for SI) Click Here
  9. The Sox might beat Chiba but they wouldn't beat the Crap out of Chiba.
  10. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:27 AM) They are a AAAA team thats all the credit they deserve.... they would maybe be on par with KC and im hesitant saying that. read the Meaning of Ichiro. You will realize what I am saying. The Yankees did lose to one of the Japan teams in 2004 and one of the other Japan teams beat the All Stars in 2004.
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:19 AM) Wow everything you post I am not saying Matt Franco is better than any Sox hitter except Konerko however you aren't giving Japan the credit they deserve.
  12. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) I meant facebooks. separate networks. i think
  13. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:41 AM) Damaso Marte's staying.
  14. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 01:09 AM) Yeah, i believe the depth has a lot to do with that ranking. And yes, Zook is amazing for pulling talent in when this program has pathetic on-field results in the past few years. What the hell does he sell them on? academics and playing time probably.
  15. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:50 AM) Iowa State fans and Illinois fans have no room to argue football right now.... at least Iowa State got to a Bowl Game.
  16. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:47 AM) What's the difference between high school and college? High School is for people in high school only. College is for people in college only.
  17. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:43 AM) she will accept......she has like 5000 i am not sure i can though. I have HS Facebook.
  18. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:41 AM) http://fsu.facebook.com/album.php?aid=7010...920d&id=5226986 should i add her to my friends?
  19. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:38 AM) Haha, you've seen her too? Hottest college girl I've seen by far. pictures please!
  20. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:35 AM) Ah yes, the other, hotter sister was Kelly. http://virginiasports.collegesports.com/sp...nn_kelly00.html OVERRATED!
  21. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:30 AM) I've been to OSU a couple of years back during the Nat'l championship season. That place was f***ing loud. The Rose Bowl's walls aren't high enough or steep enough to keep the sound inside, plus there's no type of roof. I've never been to Michigan, but it would be hard to top OSU. Anyway, like I've been saying and Vince Young has been saying, he's going to stay. I think he wants to win another Nat'l Championship and I think he wants to win the Heisman. i have. It can get pretty loud however the noise escapes easily. The SEC conference schools are the best though in terms of atmosphere because they live, eat, and breathe football. Saw LSU at home and it is LOUD!
  22. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:26 AM) Game? Year? against Michigan in 2000. Michigan won.
  23. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:24 AM) You ever been to Ohio Stadium??? yeah and it is LOUD. The noise stays in because of the way it was built.
  24. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:21 AM) Anyone watching the interview of VY on ESPN? He was asked if the RoseBowl was the loudest stadium he has ever played in....he said No, Ohio State was the loudest he has ever heard and played in! DAMN STRAIGHT!! probably because the noise escapes the Rose Bowl easily.
  25. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:04 AM) The best choice for Houston is to trade down. Like you said they don't need a QB or any RB's. They're set at the WR position, what the need is an OL. I think if you have the chance to draft Reggie Bush you have to take it. However they do need to improve that OL.
