QUOTE(mreye @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 10:31 AM) The kid in left withe the soccer ball dyed hair used to go, " Ice cream saaaaaammmmmmmich!" My buddies and I still yell that to each other. Whatever happened to the Big Ed's Ice Cream Sandwiches? They were a personal favorite, as they combined two deliciously moist cookies with some nice vanilla ice cream. They stopped serving them last year if I remember correctly...

Greg Norton just went yard against the BoSox. Am I the only one who thought this guy retired approximately 7 years ago? The Box Score... http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore?gid=260429130

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 05:05 PM) How do you write up a piece on BMac and talk only about his curve? I still think his change is his nastiest pitch. Except for when it's on an 0-2 count following two previous changes with runners on 1st and 2nd in a tied game in the 11th inning...

QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 10:25 PM) We have a lefty in AAA who hasn't given up a run last time I checked. I mean Boone Logan is a nice story but lets be serious here..when can we really use this guy? He seems to have the 'Damaso Marte Disease' where he lets all the inherited runners score and none of his own, thus keeping his own ERA at a respectable level while still managing to suck.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 10:51 PM) I'm very surprised B-Mac isn't in. He hasn't pitched recently, has he? He pitched 1.1 innings in game two against the Twins...

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 10:45 PM) I f***ing hate these pitchers parks. These pitcher's park kept this game tied in the bottom of the 9th...

Buster Olney mentioned that the Orioles nearly had a deal with the White Sox for Jon Garland until the White Sox asked for Eric Bedard. I know it's a mute point right now, but does anyone know what this deal was? I don't think it was anything involving Tejada but I could be wrong. Sorry if I'm repeating something or if this is old news, but any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

ESPN article says Marlins looking for big name prospects for Pierre. White Sox would likely have to fork over BMac or Chris Young. The amount of teams interested has pushed the price up and a big name prospect is likely a necessary for any potential deal. I really don't see us giving up BMac, and with the market going to the way it is, I see someone making a better deal than what we can do.

Just looking for the audio from Rooney's call of the final out that sent the White Sox to the World Series. If anyone has it or a link to it please post it. Thanks.

Absolutely hilarious seen in the new Family Guy movie poking fun at Game 6 of the Cubs-Marlins Series of 2003. I laughed so hard when I first saw it. Just wondering if anyone saw it or if there is anywhere I can download the short clip.

If BMac keeps up this, can he work himself into the playoff rotation? Also, will the White Sox use a four or five man rotation in the playoffs? Will El Duque, a dominant playoff pitcher in the past, crack into the rotation even if he struggles going into the playoffs? Assuming we are at home for the first series, does Ozzie put Garcia on the road regardless of rest? Just would like to throw these out there and here your opinions.

QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 12:16 PM) do you know his pitch count? Is B-Mac still in? B-Mac finsihed the 6th, but I would be surprised if he came back in with his pitch count at 105. -

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) I personally like this thread. Atleast it has nothing to do with trade rumors. Thank You. I think I've had enough with the Jayson Stark/Bruce Levin/Peter Gammons talk for the year. If something happens it happens, but I'm not gonna get excited over pure speculation.

I'm bored and there doesn't seem to be any interesting threads going on right now so why not start this thread?
