f***! Just accidentally put one in for Carl Crawford >_< Ah well, I guess I'll make up for this with about 50 more votes.....
-
Still voting.......
-
I'm going voting crazy right now.
-
Since I saw this I've been voting nonstop today. I thinka a little over 100 votes I've put in. I'm having problems with my browsers freezing but I've got 3 active browsers, so I should be able to get in about 100 votes if I'm quick enough. I'll vote as many times as I can. We gotta do this. I'm sick of this bulls*** abouta :travesty" if jeter isn't voted. Jeter isn't having as dominant a year as Pods. WORD: Just cause your a Yankee doesn't give you a free pass. Your team is is f***ing 4th place, just above the team with the worst record in baseball. YOU SUCK THIS YEAR! THIS IS THE YEAR OF PODS, DAMMIT! I grow tired of all the attention these "legendary" teams get no matter how bad they suck.
-
Whoa whoa, Crede has a sore back, and already u people are speculating a trade? Did they trade Juan becuase he had a sore back? Did they trade El Duque becuase he's on teh DL? Um, no, and I couldn't see Joe being traded anyway, the way he's been playing, not only this year btw, I can't see why they would trade him or even think about it. They obviously have no intent on trading him. Why the hell is anyone thinking about that?
-
Quite frankly, I have to say f*** Derek Jeter. Is he on the best team in baseball with 41 stolen bases? No, not even close. This popularity s*** with the Yankees has gotta stop. We gotta get Pods in there. I'll spend all day voting if I have to.
-
Milkman, if a bad start to a year made a pitcher's career "over", where would the MLB be today? LMAO. A bad start doesn't make a career end. That's illogical.
-
Well my knowledge of good pitchers isn't all that wide, I'm not to up to speed with all the other teams, but I'm hoping there's one out there wating to coem here. There's the talk about Schmidt, but I doubt that's gonna happen.
-
I realize some people(hopefully) will agree with me, but I know realistically many won't and that's fine. But I have to say, with the trade deadline approaching, I honestly hope we could trade Contreras and get someone better. I've heard all the talk about him being consistent and doing a good job, well you will have to refresh my memory, because through the horrible outings he's had recently, I can barely remember at all. I suppose like any pitcher he might just be in a funk, but he's costing us too much while he's not been very confident or competent for that matter with this best pitches, which are what? A forkball and a fastball, neither which seem to be doing him much good as of late. I hate to say it, but I have to be honest. I think Contreras needs to go. *start discussing or flaming now*

Shingo is definitely back. He's good enough to come back into the focus he was in last year, and his recent performances, mainly LAST NIGHT proved it. IT'S SHINGO TIME!
-
GO BMAC!
-
I do remember emphasizing on "THIS"
-
Jeez, I don't want bragging rights, dammit, I just want to see the Sox sweep a series and win 2 series against the cubs, that's all, it doesn't mean we would have to suffer in the playoffs. And come on, you all know you want exactly what I want! LMAO.
-
U didn't put it very bluntly, lol. All I'm saying is it would;ve been nice to beat them with authority this year. Of all years you think this would have been the time.
-
LOL, easy to do when ur plans against the Cubbies don't work out as good as u expect them to.
-
You know, I was thinking, with the year the Sox have had so far, they would finally be able to do 2 things: 1. Finally beat the Cubs in BOTH series. 1. Finally sweep the Cubs in at least one of the series. Neither of those things happened, and I'm quite shocked they didn't. Both Maddux and Prior were on the mound for only 6 innings, and yet we still didn't pull anything off after that. When Carl hit into that double play yesterday, I'm sitting there going "I don't f***ing believe THIS........"
-
Trying to belittle me by my choice of basic words? Pathetic. You know what I am saying, but I guess I'll have to say it AGAIN. What has happened in the PAST, the idea he was mediocre in the PAST, does that mean he's not going to get better or that he is just a fluke? NO, otherwise, if you think about it, most pitchers would suck. It is possible it COULD happen, but you CANNOT say "well he's most likely going to end up being worthless" and call that an argument. That's an assumption. Use some commons sense.
-
Hasn't happened and won't happen. I happen to be good at arguing, at least where I CAN argue.
-
WTF you mean WE have some problems? YOU have some problems. I am 18. You are the one who can't argue worth anything, lol. I'm not trying to start anything, but u persistently argue with no grounds, using only the past, completely lacking common sense. Pitchers do get better, you know. That's basically the common nature of things. What he's done in the PAST doesn't signify a fluke run. If you think that u have serious problems. And it's not as if I'm the only person in this thread who realizes that. I used to laugh when I ehard people say this country is full of idiots. Not anymore, not after I've come to realize it's really true.
-
Dude, you're the one twisting everything around and using every bit of irrelevant things u can come up with to try and convince urself what ur saying has any sense or relevance. I have a hard on for Garland becuase I am stating the simple fact he's good this year while YOU'RE the one ignorantly making him out to be a bad pitcher? YES u are LACKING COMMON SENSE. You are making assumptions and acting as though you are psychic by saying what's going to happen in the future, and trying to act as though that means anything. I would bet you are a Bush supporter, LMAO. Not many pitchers are hot from the start. MOST are mediocre and then EVOLVE INTO BETTER PITCHERS. HELLO. As I said, u are lacking common sense, and obviously have no arguing skills. Jesus.......
-
What I'm saying is the fact he's been mediocre in the past doesn't mean he's not gonna get better. In fact u implying that shows a great lack of common sense. Either that, or ignorance. Or hell, even bitterness. Take your pick.
-
Dude, ur talking about the PAST. Who cares? What's a RELEVANT "fact" is that he's awesome this year. It's called "getting better," ever heard of it? Nothing u say can confirm he will get worse. Past statistics are not relevant to the future.
-
Ok, so you keep basing ur arguments on hunches and assumptions against facts. Real smart. Oh, and I'm the only person here who uses a little name call once in a while? LMAO! I think in this context it wasn't exactly "out of line."
-
LOL, thanks, now once again I can say the same thing I said to you last time. You can't go on theories and assumptions. You go by FACTS, dumbass. And right now, The Sox>Cubs, bottom line. As I said, dillusional. Period.
-
qwerty, so far u've shown me ur another dillusional Cubs fan who knows nothing about baseball.
