4/7/11 - Sox vs. Rays - 1:10 (CSN)
Which was when this team started a long line of playing like s*** in at least one category. Plus, I think people start thinking differently after you win a World Series!

WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Well at least you're a decent troll!

No, no. It's not that I believe Walker preaches it. It's that I question whether he sees it going on and says/does anything about it since it has gone on for years. Granted, my biggest gripe is how dumb they are on the basepaths and that obviously isn't Walker's fault. Know what's funny? I'm generally hands-down one of the most optomistic guys on this board. If I see a problem I'll comment on it, but this Walker thing has been on my mind after NUMEROUS seasons; I'm not gonna come on here and declare "corpseball," "this.team.is.dead.," "the bullpen is gonna hold us back," etc. because it's far too early to be making any sort of movement to the edge. That stuff IMO is just SILLY.

WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Jackson! : Pierre! : Alexei! : Santos! : Lot of positives to start this season... with the bullpen overall was one of them. Let's hope it gets better!

I'm not going to argue the point of whether Ozzie's a good manager or not here, but if the point is true, one good game doesn't prove or disprove the idea; same reason I'm arguing with Y over Walker. I guess in some people's minds it would take 100% of the games played with no offensive output to convince them there's a problem... after 4+ years. lol. Anyway, Problems aside, a lot positive to take out of this season so far. Santos, Pierre and Quentin are pleasant surprises. Let's hope Rios keeps hitting as well.

We have seen 4+ seasons straight of poor overall offensive approach. I hope more than anybody that changes this year, but if you think 6 games out of 162 is grounds to say I'm in denial and have any grounds to be sarcastic when you've been arguing against fact, you're being... a word I can't say otherwise I'm probably gonna earn myself a perma-ban with my record.

Are you gonna post that every time the Sox do well offensively? What about every time they don't? Making comments like these is ignorant and show bias... And bias always shows. Anyways, good win. I can't believe TB and Boston are both without a win, lol.

Wow, EVERYTHING is clicking today, at least since I got home in time to catch the bottom of the 7th!

4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
So none. Cool. Out offense had been "fine" the last 4 and a half years, right?
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
How is it not WORTH trying??? You "don't believe" it would matter and therefore it would be a bad idea even with no drawback. That is poor logic.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
You "don't believe" in at least trying something that has a possible upside and NO downside so that makes it true? No. Your logic is flawed and inconsistent, end of story.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
That IS a rule around here.

4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
You should adapt some logic to your opinions. It says a lot that you would rather quibble over definition than address the FACT that if you and other defenders believed what you were saying, you would't oppose new hitting coach options since you already acknowledged we'd have nothing to lose. That's the bottom line. Your argument is just a big hole.

I still like Uh-Ohman.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
Don't believe? I said "are adamant about NOT trying someone new," and that makes no sense based on that logic, otherwise they wouldn't show a disagreement to do do. To anyone equipped with logic, that's a contradiction.

Hey, it's Uh-Ohman.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
I'm tired of hearing people claim the hitting coach has NO bearing on the actual offense yet are adamant about not changing the one we have. It's a flat out contradiction, period.

4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
We Ron in 2005 on pitching, dude. It wasn't a terrible offensive year but our success that year was not attributed much to our offense.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
The facts are in the last 4+ years our jitters are fundamentally retarded. But even though we have NOTHING to lose by making a change, making one is a bad idea, right? Apologists... sheesh.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
Once again people wanna ignore the last 4+ f***ing YEARS of the exact same. LoL.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
In other words, an excuse. You have problem that needs a change snd nothing to lose, you try something. Period. You're just afraid of the truth.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
A what is the criteria? 5 games? Needless to say we should have scored plenty more so fat.
-
4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
In terms of what? And by what statistics? Who is worse fundamentally? Outs on the basepaths, overswinging, leaving guys on and not scoring on 0 outs and guys on third... lol.

4/6/11 - Sox vs. Royals - 1:10 (CSN)
You could answer the question instead of changing the subject as it seems all Ozzie/Walker/whoever defenders seem to always do. No one thinks Walker is relevant yet adamantly oppose trying a new hitting coach. Sounds like a lot of people are afraid to find out they might be wrong. Otherwise it makes NO sense. Just answer this: if the hitting coach is do irrelevant, what do we have to lose in trying another one when our offense needs to change? Just answer the question flat out, no deterrents.

So it' more logical to do nothing at all when you have a recurring problem than at least TRY something when you, in theory, have nothing to lose? Yeah, good logic.
