  1. http://sports.espn.go.com/newyork/mlb/news/story?id=5384499 Can Coop fix him? Possible Peavy replacement we could get on the relative cheap? How about Hudson for Joba? I'd do it, would you?
  2. Beckham is figuring it out again... which may become a critical component of our 2nd half run trying to hold 1st.
  3. Couldn't be more proud of a team at the ASB. At the very least the guys have made this season an interesting one. Hats off to the pitchers and TCQ rebeasting himself.
  4. I hope ESPN still finds time to work in Brett Favre retirement updates and the Yankees/Red Sox highlights in between LeBrorgasms.
  5. Chris Paul and LeBron to Cleveland? This is one of the few ways LBJ can salvage his image out of this hour long ego stroke tonight.
  6. If that's the case then Boozer f***ed up. He could've easily waited for the Nets and Bulls to get desperate to at least do something this offseason after the Night of LeBron and gotten paid more.
  7. That's fine, but coming into the FA period the Bulls were by far the best team that had the cap space to go shopping. Everybody else first had to play catch-up to us to even reach the point of contention against the Lakers. Now the Bulls are a better team than the Heat (without LeBron) as well as the Knicks, Nets and Cavs (with LeBron).
  8. you guys are just going to be let down again tomorrow. Dont do this to yourselves.
  9. Exactly. All this talk about superheroes and their sidekicks, if Rose pans out to be a superstar Boozer and Noah should be good enough compliments to easily challenge Bosh/Wade.
  10. Rose, Deng, Boozer and Noah is a pretty good team with or without LeBron. At least the Bulls didn't completely whiff.
  11. Yeah but he just won us a baseball game that against the best team in the AL that puts us 1 game out of 1st place.
  12. Depends what you call news. The rumor mill bulls*** machine is about to go into a whole near gear.
  13. http://www.sbnation.com/2010/6/28/1542477/...ow-tigers-twins That's terrifying.
  14. We dont run a taxi that far south, but the 10 bus on solidarity drive can take you right to MSI.
  15. The Shedd is great, but get will call tickets if you do it. 90% of my time at work is spent running the taxi's from the Shedd and you're looking at lines that easily strech to 2-3 hours just to get in on the weekends. People love that aquarium.
  16. Contender? More like championship favorite for the next 4 or 5 seasons (depending on whether Bosh will tempt Free Agency again in 2012). That starting lineup may be among the best in NBA history.
  17. Except for the Harold's on Wabash and White Palace on Roosevelt. A walk, but not too far.
  18. Around $25 depending on the company. Everybody has tiered pricing though, so it goes up on Saturdays and Sundays.
  19. I work for Shoreline, we run the Architecture tours up the river. Im usually doing water taxi stuff, but people come up to us every once and a while saying how much they enjoyed it. As a fellow STer I can hook you up with a discount or maybe even a freebie, PM me if you're interested. Go to the taste, I've worked there the past 2 seasons (we run a taxi out of buckingham to the pier) and the stories of gangs and ridiculous crowds are way overblown. Its a bit pricey, but still worth it.
