  1. QUOTE(salty99 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) It may be bad business but that is exactly what they offered him. so what did he do? did they still charge his card for 50%?
  2. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 01:57 PM) yea, people do have a right to be pissed off. but you have to read the whole thing - the agreement that people agreed to when they purchased allows the wiggle room to get out - the verbage "while supplies last" and if you purchase season tickets THEN you get WS tickets, etc. is all in there. s***ty? yes. but they can only do so much with what they have. i understand that but there is no reason i should have to put down 50% now, FOR WHAT?? as i have said time and time again in this thread I have no problem if they charge me the usual fee that everyone else is charged regardless of playoff tickets
  3. QUOTE(rangercal @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 01:56 PM) They must have missed out on hundreds of season ticket holders. Their f***ing loss. you are damn right they did...they are going to have to acknowledge this at some point to the media and state what went wrong and what they plan on doing with every individual who did not get tickets
  4. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) They are 'taking orders' online. APPARENTLY NOT So if I could take off work and be obnoxious at 10:45 am I could get ahead of all the online orders from last night and this morning....thats pretty dumb. But if they don't charge the credit cards there is no action anyone can take. see thats what I am mad about...the fact that they did not process the tickets in the order the were received...i highly doubt they will charge our cards, since they have not yet
  5. " Fans who purchase 2006 full season ticket plans also can purchase 2005 World Series tickets." thats says nothing about A CHANCE
  6. they did a very poor job of wording it...but i am pretty sure that miss bridget biggio said if you have not been called it did not get processed...
  7. i think that is why they didnt charge our cards....if they charge me 50% they will hear from me...I HAVE NO PROBLEM paying them 205 per seat or the 10% for next year but I am not willing to pay half when no one else would have to for the same thing i am getting
  8. i really really had to keep my cool....she managed to tell me that they processed the people who were there this morning before they did ours...I said this is not fair...she said well we couldnt turn them away...she said they have been swamped all day with emails, voicemails and what not...god forbid these people work more than 8 hours in a day....i am not happy....this is not a good way to get fans to come out to the ballpark, by screwing people who are willing to dump over 3 thousand into your system.....f*** this s***
  9. just got off the phone with them...if you have not got a call you do NOT have tickets
  10. i just emailed every single sales rep...i left a phone message for one(the only one I could get to ring)...so hopefully they get back to me SOON
  11. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 01:20 PM) You guys that put the deposits on-line go to whitesox.com/seasontickets, click on the account reps and you will get some direct lines. Maybe they can help you. thank you thank you thank you...now i just hope to get throuh
  12. I am going to be very pissed if this falls through...it really does not look like anyone is going to call us. You would think they would have a release or email stating what the situation is concerning people who have yet to be notified that made a deposit. Im sorry but this is really s***ty of them.
  13. there were no more than 1500 seats available to each game....
  14. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:43 AM) I wonder if the official clock Ticketmaster uses is in line with mine. How if I attempt ordering tickets at 12:00 on my computer, when it reality, ticketmaster had already begun selling several minutes before. To avoid that issue, I'm beginning at 11:57 and reloading once every 20 seconds. use your cellphone
  15. QUOTE(J-MAN @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:37 AM) tHE offer ended at 11:00AM you should really look at the time that i posted that and scroll through the remainder of the thread on another note i got through but all it does is ring ring ring ring
  16. QUOTE(rangercal @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:27 AM) nothing on this end are you going to try and purchase tickets at 1200?
  17. anyone hear from a rep yet? anyone get through on 674-1000 yet?? anyone get an email? anyones card been charged?
  18. QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:13 AM) i havent talked to anyone who's had a different experience... well ok fine if you're literally the first person to get tickets maybe you will get something other than UD but... i dunno the chances are infintesimally small i went online at 1200 and got 4 in section 102 for alcs game 1
  19. they just said they processed ahout 900 last night from the internet and 200 in line today.... CAN I GET A CALL BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
  20. did anyone else know that you could of went down to the cell today and purchased this package at the cell box office...they just announced this on CLTV
  21. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 10:49 AM) Thats actually a good sign for those who have filled out that form already I think... i was just typing that...i have been refreshing whitesox.com quite a bit today in hopes of seeing the WS deposit disappear
  22. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 10:38 AM) I'm sure they were bombarded with deposits. Considering this whole process takes human contact they are going to have a hard time reaching everyone by the time the tickets go on sale to the general public. I would imagine that the tickets that would be reserved by people making their deposits would be held out, but you never know. It wouldn't surprise me if they are contacting the people requesting the most expensive seats first. that was one of the reasons i went with club...
