  1. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 02:47 PM) Whatever it is that Viciedo just did, it caused Gameday to freeze up. Viciedo played so bad that he done broked the gamecaster
  2. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 01:23 PM) Oh god damnit. Star Wars 1313 looked like the first Star Wars game I would purchase since Rouge Squadron and Pod Racer on the N64. hasnt that game been in development for a really long time? That is never good, just ask Gearbox about Aliens: Colonial Marines
  3. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 02:24 PM) Suddenly you're forgiven Homerun fix everything
  4. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 01:13 PM) Sorry, this IS a message forum, right? If you don't like the topic, take your own advice. Oh, and we are talking about the NBA, the WNBA has it's own thread and I'll be updating it before it dies off... Hey Im just pointing out this s*** again. I didnt cry about it for 3 pages and then create a mock thread about it. Neither did I tell you not to talk about it.
  5. well, here it is. This s*** again. Thanks a lot mexsoxfan#1. You deserve all of the WNBA talk that you get
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 12:09 PM) Although I'm not a big fan of his, Mike Shaw would have been worth giving a shot. has he already landed? I noticed he was mentioned on the SIU recruiting page
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 12:32 PM) There were 6 last year, 2 each in 2011-2010, 5 in 2009, 2 in 2008, 4 in 2007. For comparison, there were 16 in 2000, 12 in 2001, 8 in 2002. Pendulum is swinging towards pitching now. im sure it will swing back unexpectedly again
  8. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 12:24 PM) A perfect game now is like a 40 homer season was 10 years ago. And now with the better ped testing, the 40 homerun season is becoming less prevalent, isnt it?
  9. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 12:18 PM) I get that but those guys wouldn't sniff top 5 quality big men in other eras though. All I'm saying is that we should have a plethora of quality big men if athletes are in fact much bigger faster and stronger...there wouldn't be any room for Chris Paul and Tony Parker if that were true, IMO.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 12:08 PM) Kevin Love -injured Dwight Howard - injured/disinterested Andrew Bynum - bigger vagina than Rose That's three guys right there that would easily be 20-10 if healthy. I think his knees are just legitimately f***ed up. He has had problems pretty much his entire career.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 12:05 PM) Comcast, WCIU, or WGN? WGN http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/mlb/gameda...mp;mode=preview
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 11:46 AM) Liked his potential but just never healthy. big liability at the line too.
  13. SIU back on the big man recruiting trail after Dantiel Daniels announced he is transferring(sigh) offered 6'7" Aaron Adeoye, playing at John A Logan Juco after transferring from Ball St offered 6'10" Ibrahim Djambo, playing at Three Rivers Juco
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 11:35 AM) Oh, well, that's not really a personally vendetta as much as it is a good stance against assholes. No, this is personal with Bernstein. He also has a vendetta against assholes, but with Alford it is much in the same breath as Paterno/Sandusky in Bernsteins eyes. He wants to see them burn
  15. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 11:29 AM) I respectfully withdraw my last post...unless it's been moved to the catch all. It might have been. There are too many posts in there to go through, and I dont care to go through them to check
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 11:17 AM) link? thef*ck? You're just making things up. Oh no, Bernstein has admitted as such. He has gone on record saying that he loves to see Alford fail because of how much of a horrible human being he is.
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 10:43 AM) A betting parlor? where gentleman place bets
  18. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 10:20 AM) You could set up a complicated matrix that distributes posts. - Every third post in a game thread is automatically moved to the catch all, unless: a) The post mentions the players Sale, Peavy, De Aza, or Keppinger 1) These posts will be moved the waiting queue to be distributed based on how each player does in said game b) The post contains a mis-spelling c) The post is written by someone outside of the central time zone 1) These posts will be discarded d) The post mentions a particular play e) The post contains an avatar of a beautiful woman 1) These posts will be sent to my inbox from now on all posts will be automatically copied and sent to your inbox to be reviewed. regardless of any rule. enjoy.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 08:31 AM) Mike Rice - what an idiot. Enjoy working D3. The Rutgers AD should be on the unemployment line right next to him

    2013 TV Thread

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 09:08 AM) Yeah the show is definitely at its best when it's the group versus Frank. also when they are independent of each other. The episodes with Frank on his gay crusade and living with the non alcoholic AA member were great
  21. I think this discussion belongs in the catch all. Excuse me while I move posts
  22. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 08:59 AM) On this day, the 3rd of April, upon with Jenks and Strange have agreed, Hell hath frozen over /end soxtalk

    2013 TV Thread

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 08:56 AM) If he goes on a path to redemption (which may or may not happen if he has a medical scare next week), ok I'll buy it. It's clear he's tired of being homeless and away from his home. HOWEVA, this is literally the first selfless act he's performed on the show. He had no ulterior motive. That just doesn't fit. I agree it is out of leftfield, I said it when it happened I cannot believe Frank did the right thing. I really hope we dont see the path to redemption though.

    2013 TV Thread

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 08:42 AM) I watched this episode last night and didn't see anything to suggest that's what happened. The bodyguard's hands were shown the entire scene, so that would have to be an off-camera surprise. He's either a goner or they're going to stretch it out until next season (he wasn't in the trailer at all for the finale). Also, I agree that the Frank doing a good deed was totally out of character and pretty stupid. In every other similar circumstance he would have grabbed the stolen goods and sneaked away from the house. The bodyguard told him to be a man, and snatched his phone and tossed it. I really dont see how he would have helped Jimmy out in that instance. As for Frank being out of character, i dont think it is as stupid as everyone else. He has had a lot of moments with Carl this season, and in this episode he brought up the father son moment with his own father and how great it was. We know Frank could care less about being arrested, he has a million times
