  1. the Mets are the second team basically. The Madoff mess has that team ownership in shambles
  2. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 20, 2011 -> 11:45 AM) Steve, you see this yet?!? http://www.nba.com/bulls/stacey-king-soundboard.html pffft, steve has all of those as sound effects on his phone

  4. STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT NEIL FUNK!
  5. Joey Crawford is the Ed Hightower of the NBA. He has to make the game about him and what he is doing. The guy just makes games go the way he wants
  6. I found the ESPN response to the Bulls and Heat games to be funny. The heat caption was "Too Hot To Handle" and threw bouquets at the big three. The Blog about the bulls game talked about nothing but question marks and red flags. Considering the Bulls took the lead with 3 minutes to go, and the Heat almost coughed up a 18 point lead with 3 minutes to go, I thought the reaction would be similar. Silly me
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) Baiting people through sarcasm on this board is bad. Just put your real thoughts or put it in green. Sometimes green is unnecessary. And Felix hasnt said anything more outrageous than some of the actual honest opinions on this board
  8. I love hard edged sarcasm. Well done felix, you hooked many fine fish throughout this thread
  9. Bobby Jenks was the answer. Oh, wait http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=310415102

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 14, 2011 -> 01:41 PM) I guess it would like like this though: I am also guessing that minimum 10 following posts would contain variations of "this means nothing without pictures" as well

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 14, 2011 -> 01:23 PM) Not many adult film reviews in this thread. :/ feel free to be the first

I was skeptical, but I am starting to think this has potential
  13. QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 12:10 PM) Edge's best moment: what or who was blurred out right outside the ring when they hit the mat?
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 14, 2011 -> 08:54 AM) It happens a lot in many of the places I have worked. I could get terminated for saying derogatory and homophobic slurs. While it might happen where I work, it isnt ok by my employer
  15. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 14, 2011 -> 06:32 AM) One for the John Hollinger stat lovers around here (ahh are there any?); http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ycn-8287819 Yeah, this guy knows how to break it down Here are the stats that show Derrick is better, but that being said, it doesnt matter
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 08:37 AM) Is there any message board for any sports team in the world with more resultant activity and posting relating to team wins rather than losses? If there is, I would love to see it. from what i hear the sonsofsamhorn website for the Red Sox is Soxtalk X 1000
  17. IMO Bynum is done. that knee is 40 years older than that body, and it bent badly. His body language showed me that he knows it is NOT good
  18. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 02:38 AM) Wow, I REALLY must have missed something... Pablo tested positive??? http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...sp&c_id=mlb
  19. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:16 PM) Well anything could happen. Without the benefit of foresight, I will remain ridiculously optimistic for our future. In terms of what could have been, imagine how good this team could have been if we had kept Aldridge and never traded for Tyrus. We'd have a fixture at the 4/5 and wouldn't have needed to spend the money on Boozer, which could have gone for someone else. Oh well. I hate you Tyrus. yeah, but maybe aldridge provides a few extra wins 4 years ago and rose goes elsewhere
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 12:57 PM) A great year does not a great team make. The 90-91 Bulls were not a great team until they took out the 'Stons and the Lakers. At least that's my view. Stop calling the Pistons the 'Stons until they......just stop calling them that

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 09:39 PM) Source Code is really F'n good. Duncan Jones has SciFi down. He is being considered to direct the second Wolverine movie now that Aranofsky dropped out
  23. cheers to the Chris Sale as closer era!
  24. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 11:44 AM) I said "to", not "into". I just reread that, sorry. But still, it was a catch he should have made, he didnt look the ball into his mitt. It was equally as bad as Teahens drop. The difference is that Teahen is signed for another year
  25. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 11:41 AM) From what I've seen, he dropped a ball while running to the wall (not the easiest of catches, but should have been made), and then he broke in on a ball that ended up going over his mitt to the wall. So by my count, he made 2 mistakes, neither of which were as bad as Teahen's pop fly drop yesterday. Basically, he is still probably better than Quentin in the OF. He was running TOWARDS the wall, not running into the wall. He had plenty of space between him and the wall, I dont think he even was on the track yet
