Don, isnt there special hearing aids for movie theatres if you ask for them?
  2. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 4, 2010 -> 06:44 PM) I'd do it for Robinson Cano and CC Sabathia. It's crazy that the Yanks even asked this. i dont think it is crazy to ask to talk to one of the more respected pitching coaches in the league. If they say yes, you win. If they say no, you never lost anything and you move on. Its just asking

    Dexter

Dexter is going to fall hard for Lumen, no doubt. The bathtub scene was weird, and one would think that Dexter would almost be offended that Lumen went through the boxes and grabbed his deceased wife's bathrobe and wore it, but it is Dexter. Im still laughing about the set-up double murder scene where Matsuka is explaining to everyone what happened while Dexter is thinking/narrating
  4. lets not act surprised. The bears always like their guys better than top available guys
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 02:55 PM) What are you smoking? Did you watch the Patriots-Vikes game? Did you see him get jammed EVERY play and then just quit? If he was an "elite" talent New England wouldn't have traded him. He sucks now. He can still make a spectacular catch here and there, but he doesn't run routes very well, he gives up on nearly every play unless he gets the ball, and he refuses to block anyone seriously. If Brady and Favre can't "get" him the ball, who can? eh, Randy has always had the reputation of not running routes well and quitting on plays. The deal with him has always been getting him motivated
  6. QUOTE (balfanman @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 09:19 AM) I don't know. Ozzie can't be that dumb outside of baseball. For example, look how he handled Jenks mentally during the World Series. Ozzie sensed that his confidence may have taken a hit and tried to reassure him. He must have some sense of how to handle human emotion. You just said "Ozzie can't be that dumb outside of baseball", and then cited "For example, look how he handled Jenks mentally during the World Series" as your reason. LOL, that is an "in-baseball" example

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 07:28 PM) Yeah I have a friend that really can't keep up with them. I can keep up but my eyes always stay focused down there so I don't miss something and I have a hard time getting into the movie. I have a hard time getting interested in movies as it is so that really kind of kills any chance. Stop watching for the girls to take their tops off. Other things happen in movies you know.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 03:44 AM) How do the radical NL haters on here who act like any performance in the NL (Richard, Hudson) doesn't mean squat because it's the NL, explain the Giants rouging up Lee tonight? I grow tired of the NL is s*** argument. NL 1, AL 0. And yes I still think Texas wins it in 6. really, a pitchers performance in the NL has nothing to do with a NL offense vs an AL pitcher. Your comparison doesnt make sense here

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 12:35 PM) I think it'll be Two Face. Im with you. To kill off two-face after a one day rampage just isnt right. They said harvey dent was dead, nobody ever said two-face was dead. If Eckhart is involved, we will know soon enough. They cant keep that stuff secret anymore

Batman 3 title announced by Nolan The Dark Knight Rising The Riddler confirmed NOT to be the villain. Nolan also said “We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones,” which leads to some speculation that a bad guy will return. Seeing how that leaves only Scarecrow, Two face, and Ras Al-Ghul,(not counting Joker, he is confirmed out) there arent too many to choose from http://screenrant.com/batman-dark-knight-r...-3d-kofi-84760/
  11. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 10:50 AM) I think it'll be a blast if every team treats the Heat like the Patriots were treated going down the stretch in the NFL as an undefeated team back in 2007. I'm talking about no one taking the night off, everyone giving their best effort, if we could have a playoff atmoshere like their was in Boston for the 41 nights on the road that would be incredible. I think that is going to be the case, and I think the Heat better realize it. That is what made the Bulls 72-10 run so remarkable. They knew it was coming, they had been taking everyones best shot for years, not only that year, and they did it anyways. I know the Heat will have a great season, but I dont know if they are prepared for a record breaking season
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 25, 2010 -> 03:42 AM) Martz would look better with a better O-Line, as would Cutler. Mike Tice is not a good coach of anything, however. Mike Tice has long been known as one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL. You cannot expect him to make something out of this atrocious combination of offensive linemen, this is all bottom of the barrel bulls***. He was set up to fail by Angelo
  13. I could care less about the ratings. Im watching, it is a team that hasnt been there since 02 vs a team that has never been there
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 18, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) Let me know. And you're living in Wadsworth now a days? I literally live right on Midlane right now. Im pretty positive I will be going to see the Purdue game as well with another alum. Maybe we can have a beer at fox and hound before gametime
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 07:42 PM) How am I only now hearing about Undead Nightmare?? i saw that on gamespot today and thought to myself it was odd that you guys werent talking about it
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 07:50 PM) If the player is over the fence, there is no protection for the OFer the fan was over the fence, with his hand inside Cruz's glove, plus the other fan pushed the glove away. It is criminal that it wasnt reviewed, that was total bulls***

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 18, 2010 -> 06:57 PM) It's old though. I remember when the trilogy was first released on DVD I watched all the special features(only time I've ever done that for any movie). Stoltz was originally in it, but they just weren't feeling his performance at all. They got Michael J Fox to do it even though he was working on several other projects at the time. He was working something like 20 our of 24 hours in the day or something crazy like that. BTW, the hoverboard was real. Last, but not least, the DeLorean being a time machine was not the original plan. First they were going to have a nuclear site. All in all, there was a bunch of fun facts on those DVD's. http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/hoverboard.asp lol you fell for it too
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 18, 2010 -> 09:03 AM) Nice to hear Lovie a little pissed in the post-game presser, but utilize the timeouts better. no s***. Game over at 1:54 when you are down 3 is just horrible
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 05:33 PM) Tillman got destroyed all day by Williams, who is a strong receiver but nowhere near fast enough to get as open as he did. Also, he got juked out a few times by Lynch. After the game, Tillman even said he was at a loss for words for how his man got open so much. Everything you always say is worst ever, a guy has to get fired, someone needs to be cut, he need to be sent down. Just say he sucked. Thats fine

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 04:47 PM) Wow. I had no idea anyone other than Fox was ever in that role. Yeah, its really weird seeing Eric Stoltz lean forward past Crispin Glover in the diner scene

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 04:42 PM) What a perfect time for me to join the Blu Ray generation! BACK TO THE FUTURE TRILOGY NEXT TUESDAY!!!! Check out what Back to the Future almost was....
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 03:33 PM) Our big name players all struggled today...Briggs is far and away the leader of this defense, and you could sense the struggle with him out. Cutler has got to improve his awareness with Martz in charge, and that was one of the worst games of Tillman's career. Huge loss for them today though. I think Billick illustrated multiple times that the blitz pickup by the line(or lackthereof) made Cutlers awareness a moot point. When a blitzer is coming untouched from the outside on the blindside and you are on a 7 step drop you are going to be killed whether you are Jay Cutler or Peyton Manning. Must you be so overly hyperbolic about every observation you make? Worst of his career? Come on now.
  24. i think the Mets and K-Rod are working on a settlement. That would basically make him a free agent, correct? edit: nm, earlier in the season when he had the fight and got injured, there was rumors the mets were trying to void the contract. I see that they are just trying to get out of paying him this year because of his injury occuring in a non-baseball situation
