  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2017 -> 11:19 AM) Did you and I read the same article? We did. Sorry you were under a rock when Butlers trainer blasted Garpax last year, but that article basically says "We had injuries, a normal parting with Thibs, and players are divas" There is little to no criticism of how terrible the actual trade with the Thunder was, how they actually admitted they took the first deal offered for Butler last summer, how many truly terrible personnel moves they made to get them to the point that they are at right now. Nothing
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2017 -> 11:15 AM) Nick Friedell creates something like an 8 page term paper, 12-part story starting with the Rose-Bulls and outlining how things got this bad. I gawked a bit at this one from Butler's trainer: Not a lot of blame on GarPax in there
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 01:18 PM) Reading between the lines it is either that or Niko is blaming the team at large for it happening. Apparently he isn’t returning messages to teammates, and showed up to talk to front office with his agent the other day
  4. Tyler Saladino, silhouette of the fu man chu
  5. QUOTE (Quin @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 12:07 PM) Bill Browder's visa was revoked by the US State Department. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Russia, the Magnitsky Act, or Browder's expertise on Russian corruption. Restored today
  6. QUOTE (ptatc @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 05:46 PM) Much of Glennon's passing attempts were due to being down in the score quickly (he caused much of that). If Carolina had scored a few times early, the play calls would have been different as well. However, what hasn't changed is the reluctance to throw to Wrs and only short passes to the TE and backs. Glennon rarely did it and Trubiskey rarely does. They started the Tampa game with like 15 straight passes iirc. Packers game also(which turned into the nightmare game it was) And I think maybe it would have opened up a bit more if Carolina scored a TD also, but they didn’t even try to move the pocket or pass on first down at all. That’s a disservice to Mitch, especially considering he is probably going to have to pass a lot this week against the Saints. The kid needs to find a rhythm
  7. Cohen dropped a perfect back shoulder pass on the first drive and also dropped a bubble screen pass. His numbers should have been better, and the playcalling is doing him zero favors. He also isn’t throwing to guys that are only wide open, he is hitting guys in stride within windows https://twitter.com/nflfilmstudy/status/922283325288599552 https://twitter.com/_marcusd2_/status/922162218896183297
  8. It seems like Eli Manning should be thinking about hanging it up. Good lord the Giants are dreadful and it doesn’t look like it will get better any time soon
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 08:34 AM) I just don't see why Pitt would. Sure he's disgruntled, but to this point he's still playing. The Steelers are 5-2 and he's a big part of offense. He actually hasn’t been a big part, that’s why he is so upset. He is getting less targets than Ju Ju Schmidt-Schuster and that’s why he demanded a trade
  10. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 08:07 AM) I think that was my favorite scene. I like that the villain wasn't just a copy/paste of the hero (Iron Man fighting another guy in a metal suit, Hulk fighting Abomination, Ant-Man vs another guy who shrinks, Thor vs other God types. Black Panther appears to follow that style as well).
  11. Martavis Bryant still pushing for a trade. Maybe Pace can pull it off lol or how about Glennon to AZ for Fitzgerald haha I crack myself up
  12. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 07:44 AM) I saw it for the first time yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Nice addition to the MCU. I also think the Vulture is the best villain we've seen so far in this universe, IMO. I still love Loki, but Vulture is definitely up there I really enjoyed the entire scene
  13. QUOTE (ptatc @ Oct 22, 2017 -> 08:36 PM) No doubt but since they can't acquire one during the season, what you see is what you get. I said before they put Trubiskey in that the offense has not WRs so the play calls won't change. The game plan today is the only chance they have to win. Playcalling has changed 100 percent. Glennon threw 40, 45, 22, and 33 times in his starts. I don’t even think Trubisky has thrown over 20 times yet
  14. The Bears need wide recievers, period. The opposing defenses don’t even worry about them and still stack the box, they don’t give Trubisky much of a chance to do anything. When he does get a chance you see what he can do, which is pretty good. But the Fox method of getting any lead and salting off the clock is just terrible.
  15. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/africa/source-...failure-n812626 Confirmed that La David Johnson was left behind and there was a long line of f*** ups
  16. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Oct 20, 2017 -> 09:03 AM) Patrick Beverley absolutely trolled Lonzo Ball last night. Ball was awful Daddy Ball spazzed out. In postgame he was like "Who is Patrick Beverley?" Well, he just shut your kid down. Maybe, learn
  17. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 20, 2017 -> 08:55 AM) I wish that they Skrulls were involved. Too bad that they're hooked with the Fantastic Four. Give them time. Marvel will get them back eventually, Fox cant get it right and there is no point in sitting on a property that has lost them money
  18. QUOTE (Tony @ Oct 20, 2017 -> 08:34 AM) Who is she? Honestly no idea, someone I follow shared her thread
  19. I really hope this isn’t true, but with all of the mystery about what happened in Niger, I think there is some truth in here What happened in Niger
  20. QUOTE (soulfly @ Oct 19, 2017 -> 12:45 PM) I don't think it's so much that they traded him. It's who they traded him for. I don't think there was anyone on here that was excited, or thought the Sox should have traded for Shields. I'll still never understand that move, even more so when the medicals come in to play from SD. I don’t think there is any Sox fan alive that would rather have Shields right now over Tatis. It was a glaring error, but all GMs are guilty of misevaluation at one time or another. They gambled on a guy who still hasn’t played past A, and now it looks like they missed. It happens. People bring it up like they traded away a 10 time all star one year before he became an all star
  21. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Oct 19, 2017 -> 11:24 AM) WTF does it even mean? This is basically how he explained it We traded away Deng and traded away money. We had 5 guys on our board for second round and they were all gone when that pick came up We decided to trade that pick for 3.5M to save for some future player(ie. build equity) Bell was never a consideration. They didnt want to make a pick because they didnt scout anyone besides those 5 players. Considering they are rebuilding, that is unconscionable. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2017/10/19/bul...uity-ownership/
  22. The “build equity” quote was terrible. Anyone should listen to that and try and explain to me why I should give this team one minute of my attention
