QUOTE (Brian @ May 14, 2015 -> 04:33 PM) Sexist! I'm telling Michelle Beadle! You can give her my number and we can talk about it

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 14, 2015 -> 11:59 AM) It does, but I don't think it was made for old folks like me. I think teenagers may be into this. I will probably check out the first few episodes to see how it goes, but I would guess this is for younger people. I think it will be popular for a few years, definitely for the younger crowd. I am still surprised it is on CBS, it seems tailor made for CW

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 14, 2015 -> 11:24 AM) Someone who follows Illinois football way more than I do, what's with this Beckman/player accusation crap? My twitter feed has been loaded the last few days and it all seems to suggest the player quit the team and is making s*** up. Is that the general consensus? Seems like a lot of players/ex-players are tweeting stuff today in support of Beckman and his staff. a lot of back and forth, from what i am hearing on the Score and reading on twitter. There was a story out of Toledo that had some of his ex players confirming some of what Simon said, and there is a lot of circling the wagons by current staff and players. Cvijanovich said they basically went over his head and had doctors remove part of his meniscus so that he could play sooner, and he didnt find out until after the surgery. He also has stated that the Illini employed(i thought he said still employ) a head trainer that isnt certified. Its ugly

Its kind of funny that Mosgov, JR Smith and Shumpert were just a part of the running gag that was the Knicks when they were with "superstar" Melo, but put them next to Lebron and they are extremely valuable role players

Come on Bulls. Get it back to cleveland, then teabag them at home like you did to Milwaukee.

I will totally admit that Jordan got the calls, that is indisputable. I dont ever remember him talking a ref off of a goaltend though And Dellavadovas day after tech is hilarious. They eject Taj, give DELLAVADOVA two shots at the line, AND the ball. Thanks for nothing

QUOTE (ptatc @ May 13, 2015 -> 09:58 AM) It's really difficult to have an avulsion of the bone where the tendon attaches and not damage the ligament as well. They attach to pretty much the same place. When it happened, I believe Jeff Passan was tweeting about it and he was mentioning multiple sources talking about it looking like an injury that normally happens to children and teenagers. Edit: here are the tweets @JeffPassan: Jarrod Parker's latest injury is very common in children. Because bones aren't fully formed, the UCL literally tears off a piece of bone. @JeffPassan: It's why torn UCLs are rare in 11- and 12-year-olds. The opposite is true in adults. Drilling from multiple TJs can leave bone vulnerable. @JeffPassan: Jarrod Parker's injury is infinite kinds of unfortunate. If he throws another pitch, what an incredible story. No one back from three TJs. @JeffPassan: @kevinfarmermd @injuryexpert So if I'm reading correctly, same ligament is used but bone is repaired? Titanium buttons or another method? @JeffPassan: As this study shows (h/t @kevinfarmermd), Jarrod Parker may not necessarily need a third TJ. Surgery still brutal. http://t.co/srdPJiBxVL

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 13, 2015 -> 09:29 AM) Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN 5h5 hours ago There is a possibility that Jarrod Parker might need a third Tommy John surgery, writes Susan Slusser. http://www.sfgate.com/athletics/article/Mo...ers-6259810.php … A possibility? I could have sworn they said this recent injury, the tendon tore a part of the bone off

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 13, 2015 -> 09:13 AM) https://twitter.com/ESPNStatsInfo/status/598488066521583616 That graph is hilarious, and makes it look like 2015 is in the books. Stras was pretty consistent until about June last season
-
QUOTE (fathom @ May 12, 2015 -> 10:07 PM) I know his peripherals aren't awful, but it's disappointing to see how much worse Strasburg's stuff is since he debuted. thats because the stuff he had in college destroyed his elbow, and he knows he shouldnt do that anymore. Now he isnt super human, but merely extra good human

QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 12, 2015 -> 07:24 PM) You just described the entire NBA. The difference is making shots when you have them. And the Bulls are 0-fer from 3. Goff talked about this today, he said that one of his NbA sources told him that GS only runs about 4-5 plays

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 12, 2015 -> 06:22 PM) I would like to see Moore on him, he is a lot quicker. But that won't happen It would take a Christmas miracle for Thibs to put Moore in over his pet

Hinrich is just like "ok JR Smith, go ahead and shoot that"

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 12, 2015 -> 05:09 PM) Chris Paul sure did in Game 6/7 last series. And he does way more movement then Gasol does. It's the playoffs, this could be the last good chance he has to win a championship. You also have Kyrie who is playing at about 30-40% but is still out there giving it his all. I can understand him missing game 4 since we were up 2-1 but this is the biggest game on the season, you have to be out there even if it's just for 10-15 minutes of the game, that will still help Oh, obviously both situations are the same and should be treated as such. My bad. Pau is a p****

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 12, 2015 -> 04:53 PM) Biggest game of the season and he can't man up and play? It must be pretty bad I guess. Can't man up with a hammy. You will probably only make it worse

the only solution is for everyone to refuse to compliment the white sox in the PHT forum.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 12, 2015 -> 10:53 AM) I thought Pau was out. At least that is what I heard on my drive in this morning. He is most likely out, but he was the first one at the arena this morning to go through workouts to see if he could play

QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 11, 2015 -> 09:40 PM) Bray Wyatt character falling flat. Can't imagine why with all of these epic programs he has done that are designed to build him up and make him look strong. /green -
Well. Can't go anywhere but up. Amirite?

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 11, 2015 -> 02:06 PM) That isn't possession. Everyone knew it was Cleveland ball. That is possession. You can argue all day long, they were looking to see if it landed on the line, and if it landed out of bounds what time was on the clock.
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 11, 2015 -> 01:33 PM) That has nothing to do with possession. It was clearly slammed out of bounds by Niko. It absolutely has to do with possession, they even mentioned it on the telecast. It was very close to the baseline and they were checking to see if it hit in bounds, which would have ended the game
