QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 4, 2015 -> 08:28 AM) http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/02/03/dar...exclusive-debut Daredevil trailer. Looks way darker in tone than I'd ever expect from Marvel. It needs to be, im glad it is on Netflix. It gives them some space to push the limits

  5. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 10:34 AM) Mine haven't been quite like that. With my current girlfriend, I said "you do such a good job cleaning around here, why don't you just do it all the time?" You didnt tell us you just recently became single
  6. QUOTE (raBBit @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 03:17 PM) It's Dewayne Kyle god you're so stupid. there are far too many alternate spellings of it, i went with the safe one. Dwyane (Wade)still bothers me the most
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 10:29 AM) Trust is the foundation of any real relationship. Now he is gonna want to hug you too
  8. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 09:21 AM) You two are adorable. I cant wait until you have girl trouble. "I DRANK AND I TOLD HER STUFF" "so what did she say to you? "YOU ARE WASTED GO AWAY"
  9. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 07:16 AM) I hope they were 1983 Topps, because you'd only find Cal Ripken, Lee Smith, and Dave Stewart rookies in 1982. Yea 1983, I couldnt remember which box it was because I didnt know if either of them had recieved rookie status in 82 or 83. Either way, Gwynn and Sandberg were the ones we were looking for
  10. both of those guys can sit at home and not be on radio ever again, and we will all be better for it
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 06:58 AM) I'm hoping in time I just absorb it all and maybe it'll work but I'm kinda neurotic. Ha I dont think you are being neurotic in this case at all, I think this is totally normal to feel that way.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 05:42 AM) Sooooo, I've gone out a few times with the girl I previously described, and I just don't think I can date her, at least now. I like her but I keep thinking about how she cheated on her husband and that he may not be as bad of a guy as she says he is. And the fact she so carelessly did with my friend. It's weird because she didn't cheat on me but like some of you said, that possibility is there, and after being cheated on in the past, is not something I want to risk again right now. I almost wish she never ever told me but it was probably better she did. Geez, I'm a mess with relationships. Those kind of things just eat at you in the back of your mind.
  13. Growing up in Carol Stream, me and a buddy used to go to a local comic book/card store on the corner of Army Trail and County Farm rd (by the Jewel) and buy a pack once a week. They had a box of unopened packs of 1982 topps cards that were around $3.00 a pack and we would get those and try and get all of the rookies like Sandberg and Gwynn because we knew they were bigtime cards according to the Beckett.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 10:54 AM) I believe McCarthy has finally apologized / realized that the connection does not exist. I might be mistaken on this, however, you are right that if you were going to point the movement of the cause to any one person, it would be Jenny McCarthy. I think the only thing she ever retracted was that her son doesnt have Autism anymore. She tried to walk back her anti vax sentiments, but turned it into "well I just want people to be educated on what chemicals they are putting into their kids" as if they are being injected with autism causing ebola on purpose

  17. I just heard a band on Pandora called The Big Sleep "Pinkies", and I really like it. Has kind of a Black Keys feel to it
  18. Dwayne Wise had arguably the greatest catch in White Sox history 6 years ago, I think he should bat leadoff and play centerfield forevs. Thanks, Me.
  19. QUOTE (OsweGo-Go Sox @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 06:53 AM) My girlfriend is from a Cubs family, though she's never been huge into baseball herself. Her brother has suggested a friendly wager for 2015--his idea was that if the Cubs win the City Series, I have to go to a game at Wrigley in Cubs regalia with him, and vice versa. I counterproposed something that I think would be a little more fun...rather than a six game series (or even something like overall win-loss record), why not some more off-the-wall stuff? I thought maybe we could pick five "races" and whoever wins three of them wins. Of course, this wouldn't get resolved and the game in question would not occur until 2016, unless we set a cutoff date of August 1st or September 1st or something. Some things I thought of... Abreu homers vs Rizzo homers Sale/Samardzija strikeouts vs Lester/Arrieta strikeouts Adam Eaton home runs vs Cubs pitchers home runs Any other ideas? These should all be toss-ups, obviously. Maybe something like hitter with highest batting average, Robertson saves vs Rondon saves, most 20 HR hitters, etc... I'm pretty saber-inclined but he's not. You could contain these bets within the crosstown series instead of end of year results

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 08:56 AM) Man, GTA 5 just owns my life when I'm not assembling baby things, shopping for baby things, prepping the house for baby things. So it owns your life for approximately 5 minutes a day

3 times with the snowblower yesterday, probably going to have to do it once more when I get home from work today
  23. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 08:29 AM) The OC throwing the WR under the bus multiple times was pretty awful. That and his nonsensical explanations about wanting to take time off the clock and play for 3rd/4th down, so he called a quick inside pass on the goal line. Gotta wonder if Bevell is on top of the Head Coach Candidate list next season. Both the bad playcall and then blaming the WR immediately afterwards really does not paint him in a good light

  25. QUOTE (Douglas Rome @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 06:36 AM) most historic game ever, surpasses the '05 postseason, not even close. name any other single game that had more impact. Johhny Danks will always be remembered for his performance that nite. I think he still has it in him and he will shine in 2015. thanks, douglas Solid argument. You win the day.
