I hope not. He should be the first baseman until Konerko can suck it up and help the team. Its not like he sucks at the position or he cant hit. I dont think he's done for the year but I think he'll have to ride out the pain when he comes back cause that thing is not completely healed. Now the question is, will he be effective and will he do what we need him to do. ie. Take walks and instill fear in the opposing pitching. He needs to come back semi-healthy and be a prescence in this lineup or we should find someone reliable to replace him.

Konerko sucks, plain and simple. He should not be on this team.

Good thing for the White Sox is that Arroyo is on my fantasy team and whoever plays on or against the White Sox sucks. Hope this raises there chance of lighting him up. And no I dont have Konerko!!!

Hopefully Contreras pitches a perfect game. The White Sox are 1-8 in the last nine against the Red Sox. It will be hard for Count to get a good grip on the ball. Temps as high as 100 with heat index of 110. It'll be hard to keep the sweat of the hand and keep that grip.

Since Konerko and Everett left the bases loaded this Miller guy was on a rhythm and had not looked back.

Iguchi has been on base 3 times today and not scored. Shows just how pathetic Everett and Konerko have been. Everett is starting to catch the Konerko virus. NOT GOOD
