I agree, but Redmond's pretty cheap right now I believe and he's been outstanding lately, so he'd be tough to get. Penny would probably be easier. But I say go for B-Law. He needs a lineup behind him like we got. He pitched just as good as Buehrle last year with scrubs in the lineup. I bet we can get him cheap now with him not having that great a season like we did with Jimenez. Before the Alomar trade I suggested getting Castillo and Penny, but it looks like the Reds are already a step ahead of us. I think we can get Redman, but we'd probably have to part with Rauch or Honel. CWSOX45

Problem with that though CW is that, IMHO, none of those guys are a significant upgrade over Danny Wright. Ponson and Redman are, I truely think that Wright would be better in the bullpen anyway. CWSOX45

I'll take these three guys as my top choices. 1.Ponson (Baltimore) 2.Redman (Florida) 3. Lawrence (SD) These three guys might be available, and we wouldn't have to give up the entire farm system to get one of em. CWSOX45

I work for the Kane County Cougars, the class A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Let me tell you something, the A's are going to have solid pitching for many years to come. Harden isn' t the only starting prospect the A's have, but also Shane Komine, Bill Murphy, Joe Blanton, and Drew Dickinson are right there too. Billy Beane has done a hell of a job drafting pitchers. I think it's time to give our new hitting coach some credit. Last month this team looked terrible at the plate. However our bats have now come alive, and a majority of the club is just crushing the ball. Is it possible that the White Sox hitters just adjusted by themselves? I doubt it. By doing this I'm almost positive they'd be willing to pay for Weaver's salary to the O's and Sox. The only problem I see with this is that Jeff Weaver is an arrogant dick and most likely won't even re-sign with Baltimore if he was traded there. If this trade were to happen then I could see Gary Glover being sent to AAA and Dan Wright moved to the pen, that is if Glover has any options left. CWSOX45
