  2. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 03:20 PM) Alright guys ima head out. Hopefulyl we can get a win here. Wish your mom the best!
  3. Another steal. Please Ozzie...make him our leadoff man!
  4. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 03:17 PM) But had a Walk. He still did better than Pierre today. His error turned into 2 runs.
  5. That run was brought to you by Geico Insurance.
  6. I finally feel confident that we can win a game.
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 03:09 PM) Ok what happened? Who knows. I think Gameday is still trying to calculate the weather or something.
  8. I'd love a 7 or 8 run inning here to stick it to the Ranger announcers.
  9. Tight strike zone by the ump? A couple of those looked close on GameDay.
  10. So thankful that he gets the most ABs.
  11. How about back to back wild pitches.
  12. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:53 PM) didn't he lead off in Toronto at times? I believe so but I think it was a couple years back.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:50 PM) Nice steal Rios How is he still not our leadoff hitter?
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:46 PM) Nice to see us pitch over a mistake! Indeed. Now these bats need to wake the f*** up.
  15. Hamilton 3-3 and Vlad 0-3. Good call Caulfield.
  16. QUOTE (docsox24 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:43 PM) your heart must be misplaced he actually has an artificial heart. All those years of Wendy's value meals caught up to him.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) This Sox team would be OK if it played in the 1960s. Oh I take that back. The defense isn't good enough to win games in the 60s.
  18. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:42 PM) sometimes you just gotta tip your cap............................... Like very single day for 3 or 4 weeks straight.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:39 PM) .259 and .263 batting averages for Teahen and Rios, yet if you didn't know better, you'd think they were hitting .330 by how they're praised. Compared to the rest of the lineup they look like Dimaggio.
  20. 1 run on 2 hits through 6 against Scott Feldman.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:27 PM) So who takes the blame for this awful product? With 70 or some home games left, you're looking at huge payroll implications for the next few seasons if this crap keeps up. A lot of blame goes to Kenny for assembling this pile of crap but Ozzie's decisions and lineups have been absolutely brutal so far.
  22. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:26 PM) That's true, but you wait: The Sox will come up with some cheap seat or parking promotions this season before it's over. They'll have to. I just think at this point it's worth it to criticize every little thing in a Blackhawks game cause that team really has a chance and it's worth geting worked up about. This lousy Sox team has absolutely no chance unless the staff gives up 1-2 runs a night the rest of the year. That would take starters going into the eighth inning every night giving up 1-2 runs max and that ain't gonna happen either. So enjoy the games for what they are. They're already having all kinds of special deals being promoted on facebook and twitter. Advance ticket sales must be plummeting.
