  1. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 10:10 PM) I really can't stand when people who aren't on twitter bad mouth it. I get it you think it's just people saying "i'm eating cereal!" but really if that's all that's on your twitter page you just should stop following your boring friends and find the gems...like roger ebert. 5. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 04:10 PM) Also my concern is when im on vacay or traveling because I put my dog in the kennel. No need to stress too much over it. That's what home insurance is for. There's only so much you can do.
  6. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 04:03 PM) I would be in favor of getting rid of the DH if pitchers could hit worth a lick. I hate it when a NL team can just walk the bases loaded cause they know the pitcher will come up and they can get him out. If they could even hit anywhere close to what a Kotsay/Jones/Vizquel platoon will hit (which isnt much), I would be all for banning the DH. Sometime the pitcher does knock in that key hit. They can also pinch hit or do a double switch. There's a lot more tactical strategy involved.
  7. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 03:55 PM) I don't know whether I'm willing to watch five to ten less years of players such as Jim Thome, Frank Thomas, Harold Baines, Rafael Palmeiro, etc... Getting paid millions of dollars to play for about 5 minutes per game seems ludicrous to me. For that money they should be working out year round to be in amazing shape so that they could play the field.
  8. I don't understand why one of the position players get an exemption from hitting. It's quite arbitrary and gets away from the tradition of the game.
  9. Get rid of it. I'm tired of seeing a bunch of softball players getting paid gobs of money. Most of these "athletes" can barely run.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 03:04 PM) Paul Rudd is good in everything. Just saw, I Love you, Man, which added more comfirmation to that statement. Am I the only person alive that watched him in "The Chateau"?
  11. Using a wifi based security system via Broadview (formerly Brinks). Deadbolts on both entryways. Also have 2 bark-happy dogs.
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 22, 2010 -> 08:53 PM) LT 86'ed in SD Westbrook joins him in the unemployment line.
  13. A very exciting breakthrough in solar technology. Some snippets:
  14. He'd be a great Halloween idea but only about 5 people in the country would know who you were.
  15. QUOTE (Cali @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 12:14 PM) I'd really prefer Beckham hitting lower in the order for more chances at knocking in runs... Ideally he would bat 2nd and then come back as the DH, hitting 5th. Of course he would have to throw on a fake mustache or something when DHing.
  16. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 12:12 PM) That may be the greatest thing I've ever seen. Trying getting that creepy visual out of your head for the next 2 hours. I dare you.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 11:06 AM) It's the same guy who left his wife after having twins so he could hook up with his current skanky looking wife. I hope you sensed my oozing sarcasm.
  18. QUOTE (flavum @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 10:53 AM) I've seen him on TV in the cage. He looks pretty good. No big gut like the last couple years. I want Markbilliards to make an Andruw Jones version of his avatar.
