To play devil's advocate, what was the purpose of posting something like this if it's in such a preliminary stage and there isn't a any verifiable source to link this to? Wouldn't you expect people like Cowley to laugh at it?

Dummy that I am never grabbed Scott as Benson's handcuff although I almost did a couple weeks ago. Early indications out of Bengals camp is that Benson will be ready for Oakland this week but in case he has a setback who do I try to grab? Scott looked good yesterday but there are reports that Larry Johnson will be signed today. On a side note I hope that this means that the Bengals don't shift towards a RBBC with the signing of LJ. That could kill my chances at a superbowl this year.
