You know what I do that other people hate?
QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 27, 2009 -> 11:08 AM) Going along with the phone theme: I don't save any numbers on my cell phone. Do you carry a phone book with you when you actually want to call someone?

$700 Billion Bailout
QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 27, 2009 -> 09:38 AM) Who are you to tell their executive team how they will and will not travel, when it is an industry norm? The industry norm across the economy got us where we are today. Time to change the norm.

$700 Billion Bailout
QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 27, 2009 -> 09:38 AM) Who are you to tell their executive team how they will and will not travel, when it is an industry norm? Who am I? One of the people that bailed them out with my tax money. Use it to hire some consultants to make their business more efficient. State of the art corporate jets? GMAFB.

$700 Billion Bailout
QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 27, 2009 -> 09:36 AM) Ugh. I realize that "BAILOUT" is the word of the day, and that it's taxpayer funded... but they have no right to tell them how to do business. Citi is not in the business of purchasing ridiculously expensive French jets.

$700 Billion Bailout
QUOTE (Cknolls @ Jan 27, 2009 -> 09:30 AM) Not agreeing with Citi, but they didn't just order the jet last week. Both articles failed to mention that point. I believe it was ordered in 2005. Just some context. Based on the economic climate of the last 12 months that plane should have been scratched off their wish list several months ago. They didn't need to wait until the Obama administration pressured them.

Andrew Sullivan has a nice write up of the interview.

$700 Billion Bailout
QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 27, 2009 -> 09:12 AM) Wow, I didn't think that was actually going to work. You'd think that after the Big 3 pulled their corporate jet stunt to D.C. that these execs would use a little more discretion.

QUOTE (The Bones @ Jan 25, 2009 -> 01:35 PM) Here's a link explaining exactly what The Room is and why it has become so popular. Unfortunately, it's not available on Netflix and you may have to buy it on Amazon to see it. You won't regret it though. Get a group of friends together for a viewing and it will be one of the most enjoyable movie experiences you can have. http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20246031,00.html After reading the first review on this page there is no question that I will be seeing this soon. This guy had me tearing up at my desk.

You know what I hate?
QUOTE (Steff @ Jan 26, 2009 -> 03:34 PM) Hey, it's good enough for me, it's good enough for her. Since forever ago I can't fall asleep without the tv on. Thank God for the timer function. I hate hotels that have TVs with no sleep timer option.

You know what I hate?
The health club post: - Guys who do everything naked in the locker room (shave, blow dry hair, etc). - The creepy guys who seem to be in the locker room (sometimes naked) for hours. They'll be hanging around when you get there and still be putzing around in the locker room after you work out and shower. - People who don't bring a towel to wipe equipment after they use it. - People who just sit on one machine and take 5 minutes in between sets. - Women who look like they're dressed up to go to a night club with their hair all done up and tons of makeup. - People who are only there to get phone numbers/hook up. - The New Year's resolution crowd that overcrowd the gym for the first 3 weeks of every single year.

You know what I hate?
QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 26, 2009 -> 11:23 AM) Mr room-mate bought some of those last weekend, and got 2 adult movies chucked in for free (the pills arrived on Saturday). When asking how much larger in size it would make his penis, the salesman said and I quote "Sir, I guarantee that these pills will make your penis larger". And by room-mate of course you mean yourself.

You know what I hate?
QUOTE (Steff @ Jan 26, 2009 -> 09:44 AM) Off the top of my head that I can remember Bri slept during The Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, and Indiana Jones without even waking for a bottle. Nothing against you personally. It's just my personal preference to attend R rated movies minus the babies/toddlers.

You know what I hate?
On a similar not, I hate the tools who, even after the several reminders on screen, forget to turn the ringer off on their phones and/or take calls during a movie. One of these days I'm going to snatch someone's phone out of their hand and toss it to the front of the theater.

You know what I hate?
QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 26, 2009 -> 09:36 AM) Meh, if they're sleeping or whatever they have no idea what's going on. I wouldn't bring my 2-year old to the movies though because I know I can't control him for the whole movie. Movies are very loud at the theater. Chances of a baby sleeping throughout are slim.

You know what I hate?
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jan 26, 2009 -> 09:32 AM) During the day is fine. Its a different movie experience. Call me a prude but I don't see any scenario where it's cool to bring toddlers and babies to R rated movies.
