  1. QUOTE (rangercal @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 08:40 AM) I don't care for college basketball as much as I do for the NBA. I just don't think 6 foot white guys should be able to dominate basketball the way they do in college. I don't care for most domestic beers (Miller,Bud and Coors) I feel a majority of people who drink that crap on a regular basis are people swayed in by marketing and not the quality of the product. I despise most top 40 music. If it's popular, I probably hate it. I am tired of family guy. A bunch of funny lines thrown together, and some poor jerk has to draw a story around it. I hate people who have to fill their Myspace pages with so many crap songs, pictures and videos that it takes 5 minutes to load . I hate groups of people who stand side by side on an escalator blocking any attempt to walk around them. (this is especially annoying at an airport) I thought this thread was for things most people would like that you hate. I doubt most people like obstructed escalators.
  2. I don't like Scrubs, 24, The King of Queens, How I Met Your Mother, 2 1/2 Men, ER, any CSI, American Dad, newer Family Guy, new game shows (Deal or No Deal I'm looking at you!), any MTV network. I could care less about hockey or professional wrestling. Nicolas Cage gives me the willies.
  3. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 08:18 AM) I also don't enjoy movies much in general. Find them too long and boring. It's TV for me. Whoah. Talk about ADD.
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 04:23 PM) I'm not sure which is funnier, that or the dildo thing that Alpha posted.
  5. QUOTE (juddling @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 09:40 AM) Don't forget the Beanie Babies.....Beanie babies Beanie babies?? Check out this s***. WTF? Scroll down to the ones with the weapons and Darth Vader. LMAO
  6. We'll see if they even last long enough to make the 3rd generation "cheap" car. They have been hit pretty hard by the recession from what I've read.
  7. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 01:49 PM) A competitor for Tesla. Good. At that price range I wouldn't even call them a competitor.
  8. First time I had even heard of this up and coming car company... LINK

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 10:50 AM) I thought Benjamin Button was one of the best movies I've seen. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  10. BigSqwert replied to Chisoxfn's topic in SLaM
Benjamin Button gets 13 oscar nominations. Heath Ledger gets nominated for best supporting actor.

QUOTE (juddling @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 09:57 AM) Were my eyes decieving me or was that Jack's dad (or at least the actor) that showed up at Kate's door???? I don't think it was him.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 09:44 AM) Both are bad, but Widmore a little more so. "Bad" is relative. Until we really understand their true motivations we might find out neither are really "bad".
  13. George Washington didn't even take his until 7 weeks after he took office.
  14. Happy birthday!!! Check your mail today. I sent a box of rocks.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 10:10 PM) The Ms.Hawking scene at the end really screwed things up. I remember seeing her before. Who was she in previous episodes?

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 03:31 PM) haha thats hilarious, but uh...what the hell was that lady even trying to say with that? She was referring to the terrorist fist jab, or dap.
  17. BigSqwert replied to SnB's topic in SLaM
A little too much information in this one. http://cache.gawker.com/assets/util/videoM...URL=fisting.flv
  18. Holy crap. This poll would have taken 3 hours to create.
  19. Dang. I have a bunch of Clif Bars that I'm going to have to toss. http://www.clifbar.com/voluntary-recall/
  20. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 01:30 PM) The Iraq War was a colossal mistake, and one he should be judged harshly on. But instability in that region was just as high at times, and even higher on occasion, than it is now. That region was a powderkeg long before Bush further stoked the fire. I was just trying to find one example where, with time, his presidency might even look worse than now. All these conservatives keep saying "Time will tell" with the implied assumption that we'll look at his presidency more favorably. I'm saying we might learn more and realize it was worse than first imagined.
  21. Happy Birthday!!!!
  22. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 10:13 AM) But I also think that some things he did will be much more understood with time. You're right. In 20 years we'll realize that the unfathomable instability in the middle east (because right now it's slightly fathomable) was triggered by his idea to start a war against a sovereign nation.
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 06:50 PM) Nobody is trying to be against and afraid of Christianity nor its crazies. I just feel like faith and the Church is very out of place in an event where a Federal official who represents all races, creeds and religions is being sworn in. I mean, isnt it a BIT weird that there was almost a mini religious service right before a civic ceremony was held? It just doesnt belong there. I just read this on the Trib online... LINK
  24. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 01:16 AM) dave is always the best part for me. Indeed. I like that you only get him sporadically.
  25. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 10:09 AM) I also find that every trainer at my gym is hilariously overweight. Why would I take your advice when its clear you have no idea what a diet and workout routine should be anyway. ^^^^
