  1. BTW, that reminds me...where's Kap? Didn't he repeatedly say "Mark my words Hillary will be the nominee"?
  2. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 08:56 AM) Nice job smearing all the GOP for one whackjob. Well I kept hearing how we should wait until the GOP got a hold of Obama and that Hillary's attacks were nothing. This is just one example of what I'm sure will be many.
  3. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 09:52 AM) What a sound bite!! This could really sting McCain.... McCain: Bringing Troops Home From Iraq "Not Too Important" When asked if he knew when American troops could start to return home, McCain responded: "No, but that's not too important. What's important is the casualties in Iraq." I would bet at least 7 out of 10 Americans disagree with the statement he made.
  4. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 09:37 AM) Sure, and I agree with that too. Its yet another reason that I am unsure on who to vote for. I was just pointing out that Obama seems to want to go spend that war money, and then some. But I will also be waiting for Obama to show how he plans to pay for it, as I am sure that Senator Allard may have not been completely accurate in his estimations of things.Correct me if I'm wrong but don't most candidates for President propose a slew of big initiatives when they run and once they get elected only institute a small percentage of them, regardless of who controls Congress?
  5. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 09:35 AM) Heck, that 22% may all be working-class white male Hillary supporters. No female Hillary supporter who is actually looking for forward progress on womens' rights is going to vote for McCain. Also, there's so much time until November for the hurt feelings of the Hillary backers to heal, I see it as a huge relief that less than two weeks after her concession almost 2/3 of her supporters are behind Obama. No kidding. We haven't even had one debate between the 2 nominees. They haven't even picked their Veep choices.
  6. I would add that I am concerned about the never-ending war in Iraq and the trillions it will cost us if McCain were to be elected.
  7. Apparently the GOP hasn't gotten the hint that nasty smearing isn't working this year for them as we have seen in the Congressional races. But here we see them going at it again by attacking Obama's religion, insinuating that he's a crypto-Muslim.
  8. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 03:29 PM) Anyone want to fess up to voting for "they are both worse than Bush"? I am surprised someone voted that way. It's a little known fact that GWB is a member of this site.
  9. A Jenks save in game 7 would be priceless.
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 07:34 AM) Obama campaign could feasibly raise $100M in June. And conversely

  12. QUOTE (sf_soxfan @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 02:36 PM) watching a 2-in screen, but he was at the wall. Just missed it. I hope that's not the size of your on-the-wall plasma TV.
  13. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) Well still a lot of game left but this is not going well. Why is it that a twins offense that has trouble vs the rest of league always seems to have success vs us. Just about all of Masset's earned runs have come against the twins and now both of Danks bad starts are vs the twins. Perhaps you were out of town this past weekend?
  14. Hopefully he can settle down and stop the bleeding.
  15. Looks like the making of a big inning for the Twins.
  16. From almost breaking the floodgates open to potentially losing the lead in a matter of moments.
  17. Should see their bullpen relatively early at this pace.
  18. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 12:36 PM) They've been doing that when Hall is catching. Ah. Haven't caught many games with Hall behind the plate.
  19. Just noticed Ramirez is batting 2nd. I like the move.
