  1. Are you sure it's not this place?
  2. Was nice to hear Obama mention in his speech that he won't use religion and patriotism to divide America. Somehow I doubt the GOP will do the same.
  3. Per the local fire marshal in St Paul there were approximately 17K in the stadium last night and an additional 15K outside of the stadium. The guy can really draw a crowd.
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 10:09 PM) I only watched the first 5 minutes, it didn't seem too bad to me. The first 5 minutes were OK. You have to get into the heart of the speech where it becomes cringe-worthy with forced lines and stumbling over words.
  5. Dang. What an electric crowd in St Paul.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 08:49 PM) I'm reading that there were actually people on Fox News discussing reasons for why his speech was so bad tonight. Do not question McCain-o-tron3000.
  7. She keeps plugging her website. Pathetic.
  8. God I hate her. Even in this speech she is trying to tear apart the party. Unbelievable. Talking about how she won the electoral vote. The electoral vote!?!? Really Hillary???
  9. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 08:30 PM) wait, what? are you serious? Maybe they really ARE hoping for the assassination thing. Dead serious. Hillary speaking now.
  10. Unreal. He just yelled out "Are you ready for the next president of the United States of America!!!!" as he introduced her. What a bunch of delusional people in that campaign.
  11. McCauliffe speaking now at the Clinton rally. I find that guy to be quite annoying.
  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 07:15 PM) Do you have a link for that? His speech? It was on live TV just a few moments ago. His one-liners were painful to watch.
  13. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 06:53 PM) durrr change If you just watched McCain's speech and think he has a chance then pass me what you're smoking. Obama will mop him up in the debates. McCain's voting record is 95% in agreement with George Bush. That's not going to fly with Americans.
  14. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) I am at work, did they interrupt McCain to announce it? Yes and they didn't even bother to go back to show the rest of it.
  15. I know I may sound like a sissy but I just got shivers up my spine when Olbermann officially declared Obama the nominee a moment ago.
  16. I can't help but to laugh at all the Obama haters that kept saying how he just talks fluff and has no substance to his speeches. After 15 minutes of Obama bashing and forced one-liners I'm wondering where McCain's substance is. Double standard if I ever saw one.
  17. In the television era I think it would be wise to get your teeth whitened.
  18. McCain giving an uninspiring speech in front of 100 people in Louisiana. *yawn*
  19. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 01:00 PM) For the first time in a while, I'll actually be watching the political coverage on TV this evening. You and me both.

  21. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 11:07 AM) Any idea on what Obama would do if he loses to McCain? He will continue with his plans for a jihad.
  22. Wire service: “Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, campaign officials said, effectively ending her bid to be the nation’s first female president.”
