Well, I suppose someone could worry about whom a candidate feels they owe political capital. I do know that i have been convinced to vote one way or another based on a good argument for a certain side. Of course that might be because I'm a 'stupid idiot', but I like to look at issues from a variety of angles before making a decision. Those good arguments can be lost in a sea of bad ones, therefore missed.

strategic oil reserve: dems want to use it. talk about a short sighted approach. there is a reason we have those reserves, and it's not to lower gas prices by a penny or two.
