QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 05:15 PM) Government growth is still government growth. And think what you want about me. I do about you. Even though your name is Mr. Genius, I wouldn't exactly call you Mensa material. how dare you make such personal attacks!

QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 12:13 PM) I would administer corpaoral punishment to the person who took it upon theirself to assualt my child. In other words, I'd beat the hell out of whoever it was. what if they were a total badass and in your attempt to get retribution you were the one who got the 'hell beat out of'? oh what a sad scenerio.

QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 04:12 PM) Youre funny. The size of the federal government exploded during the 1980s. first off i was joking, but i'm not sure if it was funny. secondly, in the 80's most government growth was in foreign intelligence and military. thirdly, rex does not kickass.

QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 04:10 PM) Ronnie Reagan never wanted small government. whatever, communist.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) Law enforcement needs all the tools it can get to catch these people. The more you de-claw the police the more criminals and terrorists run rampant. How many times do we need to get hit before we realize this? The 4th Amendment is very important, I know we can agree upont that. For me, law enforcement has plenty of legal tools to stop terrorism and removal of the 4th should not be one of them.
-
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 03:12 PM) As far as your ilk is concerned the more powerless law enforcement is the better. Even though the current Patriot act is being filibustered they can still use all of its provisions in ongoing investigations and to investigate crimes committed before the 31st. So even if the law does expire the government can still use its provisions pretty much indefinitely. Nuke, do you really want the federal government to be as big as it has gotten and have this much power? Ronnie Reagan is rolling over in his grave. for shame Nuke, for shame.

QUOTE(Cknolls @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 02:17 PM) Nothing to hide= nothing to worry about. meh, I think that is BS. We should have certain rights to protect our privacy and disallow unlawful search.

QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 04:19 PM) This year's White Sox team with no moves would be the same as last year's team. God damn, if you don't become a brain surgeon, you will have missed your true calling.

QUOTE(SnB @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) Why hasn't someone sued the truck driver for murder yet? Oh they are, don't worry. The 'victims' family is also suing Mack trucks, Firestone tires and the city of LA.

QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) I think it also depends on how the taping was done. Was it a little piece? More for show than actually stopping the kid from talking? Or was it really really applied? i was thinking a little piece for show. if the kids mouth was wrapped tightly, with a lot of tape... that would be messed up (probably a crime).

QUOTE(Mercy! @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 02:18 PM) And yes, I actually caught the paddle from the principal in my day. how old are you?

QUOTE(rangercal @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 07:58 AM) I would be very worried trading Garland. His stock is not at it's highest. I see him an allstar pitcher from here on out. i agree

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Dec 13, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) I would also guess that a majority of murderers in states like Texas would rather not be executed either... i agree

I don't like this trade, especially if KW is planning on trading Garland.
