QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 09:46 PM) I tried watching Prison Break on Netflix stream. Couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try again sometime Man, I loved Prison Break. So much so, I stuck with it way too long.
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 08:56 AM) So Kidd demoted Lawrence Frank. Brooklyn is doing well. Jason Kidd needs to be removed from that situation. A questionable signing has blown up on them. Also, apparently, acquiring two of the oldest "stars" in the league and selling it as the step to kick ass wasn't a good idea.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 08:09 AM) Apparently Teague's grand debut in Iowa City was put on hold Bulls couldn't live without Admiral Tank.
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:25 PM) Kevin Garnett is either playing hurt or he's simply done. I'm hoping he's hurt. Even at his age it's hard to fall off a cliff like this in one year. Eh. He's 37 and has been in the league for 19 years. That's a lot of NBA miles. Paul Pierce is a couple years younger and also seems to have forgotten how to play basketball.
  5. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:18 PM) I can't wait for when some of those guys are flops and we will all agree that the teams that picked them were dumb and they were clearly bad picks Michael Carter-Williams had a triple double last night. I will no longer pretend to have any idea.
  6. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:48 PM) Oladipo and MCW almost both had Triple Doubles tonight. That's gonna be a fun matchup for the next decade. They did both have triple doubles. 2OT with no defense, but still wild.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 01:08 PM) Anyone do anything for Giving Tuesday? I gave out a pink slip, so to speak. Felt bad about it.
  8. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 10:15 AM) Don't it so personally. It'll be okay. Oh you are SO HARD!
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 22, 2013 -> 09:38 AM) Well, that was a productive 14 hours or so. Building security where the wife works found the guy. He came through the back loading dock and waited for two of her co-workers to exit and ran in and cased the joint. My wife, having left her wallet on top of her purse, made her an easy target. Here's the f***stick in action. He's part of the Florida Felony Lane Gang, as Kyyle mentioned, this is something that happens all the time. They have a shot of his car and license plate both at her work and Target, and nice pretty shots of both dudes' faces at Target. Idiots will be rounded up before the end of the day I would imagine. And yes, we'd like to press charges. Update: They got the bastard. They caught him doing the same thing to someone else (unsurprising) - for some reason that person doesn't want to press charges. We do want to press charges.
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 10:59 AM) Last night proved that the NBA is right to keep a team from Seattle. It's a shame they provide such worthless, lifeless fans for their NFL and MLS teams while Charlotte has the turnout that they do for their NBA/NFL teams. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I see what you did there.
  11. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 09:48 AM) You made me laugh and be sad all at once. This.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 09:28 AM) Gangster Squad was a steal of the plot line from The Untouchables, except it was done like s***. No way dude! Gangster Squad was f***in' ART because Ryan Gosling's chosen hand touched it.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 09:18 AM) Oh Christ, you have to be kidding. I loved season 1 of Homeland, and really liked season 2, but season 3 has been pretty bad up to this point. Too much Dana, too much Crazy Claire Danes Carrie, and totally unbelievable in parts (they literally shot her because she compromised a mission for personal reasons and 2 weeks later is allowed in the situation room during a covert CIA operation. GMAFB). I love that it's finally coming together and I hope it continues, but the first 5 episodes were not good television. Season 3 has been phenomenal. Dana was the focal point of what? One episode? You have got to be kidding.
  14. LOL at this. Also, I can't get that PS4 soon enough, this game looks so f***ing beautiful.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:48 AM) You must really love Dana. Nope. I love the best show on television.
  16. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:49 AM) He made The Notebook decade ago and it's not bad. Gangster Squad was made by a solid, up and coming director with a cast of real actors. Don't compare them to the Fast and Furious. It's like comparing Culver's to McDonalds. The Fast and the Furious is guaranteed a better movie than Gangster Squad. Gangster Squad was complete trash and nothing about Gosling's role was "for art" or whatever. Real actors are in the Fast and Furious movies, too.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:44 AM) Finally a good Homeland episode. You're impossible to please. This entire season has been incredible.
  18. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:36 AM) What does success have to do with quality? Most top grossing movies are bad. Ryan Gosling seems like an actor more concerned with the craft than being rich. Oh give me a break - the dude was in f***ing Gangster Squad and The Notebook for f***'s sake. He's making plenty of money and has signed up for plenty of paychecks.
  19. Apparently young point guards kicking ass is just the name of the NBA these days. From Curry to Lillard to Wall to MCW to Bledsoe to Lawson to Kyrie to Goran freakin' Dragic, these little s***s are getting theirs from anywhere on the court on a ridiculous, nightly basis. And we gave the biggest contract we could to the guy whose knees explode every year. Great.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 01:27 AM) You better have been drunk as hell when you posted this... Either that or you're just trolling. Someone hasn't been watching Paul George. Elite defense? Check. Score from anywhere? Check. Painfully handsome and stylish? Check.
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 2, 2013 -> 11:58 PM) Oh, remember last year when I said Paul George was a more athletic Scottie Pippen? I didn't mean it the way it sounded at the time. Now? Yeah, he's better. Well-played.
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2013 -> 11:48 PM) I'll wait until the contract gets signed before I call out Jay-Z. There is so much posturing now, but teams tend to get desperate, a player like Cano is always in the catbird seat. (Did I really just quote Hawk?) Yes. Stretch.
  23. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 2, 2013 -> 12:59 PM) Am I the only one who heard this news and immediately asked "Who?" I'd imagine pretty damn close.
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 2, 2013 -> 11:10 AM) Yeah, DC seems to hate everybody including his own mother. Oh, has anybody peeped Durant's stat line from last night? Good god. http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400489126 Andre Drummond had himself a night as well. http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400489123 Durant's night might have been the best fantasy basketball night ever.
  25. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Nov 30, 2013 -> 09:57 PM) Charlotte is going to come down. They've had one of the easiest schedules in the league so far and they're still getting outscored by almost 3 points a night. That roster is horrible. They've been playing without their best player, too. Big Al makes somewhat of a difference.
