QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 12, 2012 -> 11:17 AM) I agree, a bunch of pansies crying about tanking the season and wishing people flopped more. TURRIBLE. I miss the days when men were men. You don't even read the posts if you think anyone here wished people flopped more.

2012 TV Thread
It's Always Sunny was actually pretty damn funny last night, but the main event (The League) blew it away. That show is ridonk. Also, they smartly advertised "The Greatest Event in Television History" during The League, so I watched it. http://theclicker.today.com/_news/2012/10/...adam-scott?lite It was really funny, only 15 minutes.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 12:00 PM) good one. Type in Lebron flops in google images, there's like 10 moving gifs that come up, each of a different flop. And those are just the ones someone bothered to gif. Everyone in the NBA flops. LeBron is not nearly as bad as most other stars. Everyone needs to get over the LeBron hate - it's over, he chose South Beach. He also grew way the f*** up last year, manned up, and dominated from day 1 and led his team to an NBA Championship. He's a monster and the most physically gifted NBA player ever.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 11:22 AM) The thing I hate most about Lebron and Wade is how much they flop. They're 2 of the best players in the NBA and they flop so damn much, they're shameless about it. I would root for the Bulls regardless but I'd be like "Go Bulls! Oh Lebron is a dick, I hate that guy. But go Bulls, yay!" Wade flops, LeBron doesn't.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 11:19 PM) Somehow I am not surprised you would vehemently disagree with something I've said. You posted nonsense. I'd imagine most folks who saw Looper would scratch their heads at that goofball theory. What next? 9/11 was an inside job?

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 05:18 PM) Just saw Looper. Movie is such a mind trip! Reminds me of Inception in the fact that I can't stop thinking about it hours after I saw it, and now with all these theories about , I can't stop reading online discussions about what truly went on. that actually doesn't make any sense. did you see the same movie the rest of us did. there's not even a reason to use spoiler tags, because it's so unrealistic and never even hinted at during the film.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 10:38 PM) I think I would be a fan of any team Derrick or Lu go to. I wouldn't go so far as to call them 'my team', but I'd definitely follow their games. You know they won't be in the NBA forever, right?

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 10:01 PM) That has absolutely nothing to do with today... Let me ask a rhetorical question, and I pose this question to anybody who reads these words: If you had two choices between trading everybody on this team to win a guaranteed championship and retaining everybody on this team despite possibly never winning one, which would you choose? Would a championship be fun if you have no emotional attachment to the team or any of the players? I'd make that trade immediately and commence madturbation.

What I'm saying is clearly the opportunity was there to acquire a franchise center - sure, not Dwight, but damn good in his own right.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) Unstoppable? I wouldn't consider Noah an offensive threat and Bynum is seemingly always banged up. Plus we'd lose our 2nd most effective scorer. I wouldn't like that scenario at all. Bynum is a more efficient scorer. Noah wouldn't have to score, just clean the glass and let Bynum dominate. It seems pretty obvious, actually. And good luck scoring downlow on that combo.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 02:28 PM) Seeing him in another uniform would break my little heart. RESTRUCTURE! Back load the hell out of that contract and kick the can down the road imo. Anything to keep him here. I would love to see Deng gone, honestly. I truly wish we'd been the Philly part of the Dwight Howard trade and been able to send Deng (plus maybe the Charlotte pick to make up for the difference in value to Iguodala) and wound up landing Andrew Bynum. The Bulls missed the ball there. They could have paired Andrew Bynum and Joakim Noah downlow and become unstoppable.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 01:06 PM) ELIAS is changing Mendenhall's 13 yard TD run to a 13 yd TD catch. And with that, Big Ben gets a passing TD added to his stats. I have now lost one of my games from last week b/c the guy I played had Roethlisberger. Daaaaammmmnnnnn.

QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 12:33 PM) I don't think chances of reinjuring the ACL are very likely at all, though I'm happy to be corrected. There is just a serious need for reacclimation, strengthening, etc in the whole lower body. I'd imagine the only real concern with a too soon concern is a mixture of injury risk for other parts of his body and more likely low effectiveness. Yeah, much like how his foot injury wound up working it's way up his entire leg, effecting his groin and I'll go ahead and say ACL as well.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 11:06 AM) Through 5 games, Jay Cutler is rated 2nd best QB in the 4th quarter with a QBR of 118. 5th best in the 2nd half with a QBR of 107 t-25th in the first half with a QBR of 57 He's like the anti-Lebron! This has been rather evident, but those numbers are staggering.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 11:42 AM) "The consensus among several players and coaches after the first week of training camp is they’ve never seen Deng playing at such a high level, both shooting the ball well and going effortlessly off the dribble in addition to his fine defense." QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 11:40 AM) I can't wait until Derrick gets back, and the United Center gives him a standing O. This we can agree on - though it might not even be this year. In an interview with NBA TV's Steve Aschburner, Derrick Rose mentioned the possibility that he could miss the entire season as he recovers from knee surgery. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nba/185...lay-this-season
