  1. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 28, 2012 -> 03:49 PM) No way Sorry, he's the future and the best looking pitcher to come up for the Sox in a very long time. They aren't going to give him the 130 pitches he'd need to close this out.
  2. I bought a tight watch today.
  3. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 27, 2012 -> 10:04 AM) I thought the same thing just from watching the trailers. Me too - and the trailers were more than enough for me.
  4. I have no idea who I want to win, but I know Marty Brodeur getting another championship would be awesome. What a great career - he's been the Devils' outstanding goaltender since I was old enough to comprehend sports fully.
  5. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 25, 2012 -> 03:45 PM) "I don't really know crap about bicycles so just because you have a $4000 Bianchi I'm sure everyone that looks at my generic $95 Walmart bike will thinks it's just as good." That Huffy is tight.
  6. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 25, 2012 -> 02:39 PM) So I have to see either The Five Year Engagement or Wanderlust. Anyone see both? Which is better? Both get about the same reviews on rotten tomatoes. I cracked up during The Five Year Engagement.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 25, 2012 -> 01:00 PM) I have heard rumors they will refuse to take the field tonite I heard they agreed to take the field, but only to bow to the Quintana.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 25, 2012 -> 12:24 PM) fathom you know im teasing you, but come on now. Lillibridge is a bench player. De Aza may not be great or even all that good against lefties, but not many lefthanded hitters are. Lillibridge hasnt been able to replicate that success this season, and he has offered no reason to make them a platoon at any point in this season. Letting De Aza get at bats against lefties has been preferable. And De Aza has been really good this season. I am extremely happy to have him as the leadoff hitter, he can steal a base, hit for average and power, as well as drive in runs. Alejandro De Aza OBP vs lefties this year - .302 Brent Lillibridge OBP vs lefties this year - .143
  9. btw, De Aza can be my leadoff hitter for the next 5 years - I'm fine with that. He has a great approach and gets on just enough for me to worry about other spots.

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 25, 2012 -> 11:58 AM) Lol, Midge. I keep thinking it's Mitch. Apparently it is Mitch. F*ck if I care.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 25, 2012 -> 12:01 PM) Boring book, but the movie makes it seem much more interesting. There is zero way I could agree with you any more about this post.
  12. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 25, 2012 -> 11:50 AM) I'm rocking this watch right now. Nice!

    QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 25, 2012 -> 11:32 AM) I agree that her scenes have been dreadfully slow and seemingly pointless but we got to meet Rosie's real father and found out Rosie was about to run away before she was killed. Yeah - but Rosie about to run away doesn't really matter, and neither does knowing what her daddy looks like. We also didn't need to see Midge and all that diner random runaway teenager bulls***. It's f***ing awful, everything Midge. And really, watching the Larsen's home life is exhausting - Also, two week suspension for stomping some birds? The kids f***ing sister was murdered two weeks ago, and you think the ONLY course of action is to suspend the little s*** two weeks for taking some aggression out on some birds?
  14. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 24, 2012 -> 09:02 PM) Pacers may turn the ball overl 20 times tonight. The worst part about their game is most of the turnovers are bone-headed pass the ball out of bounds turnovers.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:19 AM) Not in the 21st century when everyone has a cellphone. As long as you have no problem looking like a schlub at work, then you're set!

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:53 AM) 10 minutes scenes with people crying or complaining about how tough life is are made worse by that setting though. There's very little momentum from scene to scene. It's all too depressing and not entertaining. I still have no idea why we are following Midge around - absolutely nothing has been added to the story based on her pointless exploits.

    QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 25, 2012 -> 09:33 AM) That bolded part is an odd thing to criticize IMO. We are on day 22. TWENTY TWO! I know it's rainy in Seattle, but I think if it rained for 22 straight days as it has on the show, there'd be some arks being built at this point.
  18. Friday: The Jose Quintana show Live - sure Saturday: BBQ, dinner, bars Sunday: outdoor workout, golf, spurs/thunder on some patio drunk Monday: shop for nashville clothes, probably drunk
