  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 18, 2012 -> 03:32 PM) Awww, the W flag says KW. KENNY WILLIAMS
  2. This is a f***ing baseball game. This isn't some sappy movie. Why is the game being delayed so much for Kerry f***ing Wood's s***ty k of Viciedo. Get out of here.
  3. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 18, 2012 -> 01:10 PM) You can just admit you were wrong, and we can move on. Even people who agreed with you about Kaner know you got owned.
  4. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 18, 2012 -> 09:54 AM) George W. Bush is writing a book on economic growth. That should be a great read.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 18, 2012 -> 03:02 PM) I disagree. He was headhunting our best player after his home run. If Hawk, of all people, thinks it was unintentional, it was unintentional.
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 18, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) Samarj should have been ejected. The umpires blew that one. Guy hits home run and colorful pitcher hits batter in the face the next at bat? I do wish we'd have drilled him instead of throwing at the other Cub, but at least Humber threw at one of them. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 18, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) Ok, so I just thought of something funny. What if Samardzija comes up to bat, Humber gets an 0-2 count, and then AJ wants tons of curveballs in the dirt so if he swings and misses and has to run to 1st, AJ just throws a strike to the back of his head. That would be kind of interesting. Get over it.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 18, 2012 -> 02:08 PM) Samardzzjzlja leads off. hit him or wait for Starlin? WOW. Alexei needs to be shot. Now Jeff S is on first.
  8. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 18, 2012 -> 10:01 AM) rofl ya weird: ***Updated 9:50 a.m.: Reports say Wood wants to pitch one last game with the Cubs. His last MLB appearance could be today, Saturday, or Sunday. I truly hope he gets out there today and gets smoked.
  9. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 18, 2012 -> 07:58 AM) I hope Samardzija takes a line drive off the skull today. No one disrespects the Hawk. Oh God, his comments were hilarious and dead-on.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 18, 2012 -> 09:03 AM) Cubs mascot Kerry Wood to retire today He wants to pitch one more time, apparently. Weird.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 18, 2012 -> 11:24 AM) f*** THIS BULLs***. This always happens with Wade. If he has a bad game, he has a non-disclosed injury that he has been dealing with for a long time that nobody knew about until just now. If he has a great game after that, he has suddenly risen above the many obstacles in his way. if the team fails, well it was because Wade was injured. if the team succeeds, OMG CAN YOU BELIEVE WADE DID THAT WHILE INJURED?!!? I hate that guy. Every year its the same bulls*** Yeah - Wade always has an excuse.
  12. I'm thinking about picking up Max Payne 3 today, because I loved the first two so much. However, I know in the end I'll just end up ignoring it and playing sports games. Ugh.
  13. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ May 18, 2012 -> 10:38 AM) I would lean Pery Jones. Drummond is at least big and athletic so he should stick in the league even with no real offensive development. Jones seems to be a SG trapped in a PF's body, so he strikes me as another Marvin Williams (props to Steve for the easy comparison instead of me writing 3 paragraphs to get the same point across). You are welcome.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 18, 2012 -> 08:37 AM) I know it's obvious. I'm just saying, this thread is pretty much Bulls, Bulls, Bulls, cry about the refs EVERY single night and I guess hating on the Heat. That's why Felix bolted. Which is a shame. But he's just a boring T-wolves fan. He doesn't fit in around here. Yeah, the Western Conference Finals should be great. The reason all you hear is Bulls, Bulls, Bulls f*** the Heat is the NBA was f***ing terrible this year, and these playoffs have been just as brutal. The only interesting series going on right now is, I guess, Heat/Pacers? And that f***ing sucks! We all know the Thunder will roll. We all know the Spurs will roll. I don't really care about anything East right now, which is so weird. It's just a s***ty sport right now, sadly. The schedule this year ruined the entire season, it wore down some of the greatest players in the game, and it just stunk. That's that.
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 17, 2012 -> 11:27 PM) I guess I'll say it because nobody else has or will...the Spurs are pretty f***ing good. Wow, you are a trail blazer. Where did you come up with this information? Thank the Lord someone pointed out that the 1 seed in the West is a good team.
  16. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:37 PM) I don't remember Patrick Kane making ridiculous claims to the media about how cocky he was and that he would be called up when he wants to be called up, etc. I see what you are trying to do here, but you are failing miserably. Jeez. I don't really know what to say. Only one of us here is failing, and it certainly is not me.
  17. QUOTE (Jake @ May 17, 2012 -> 07:27 PM) Why would you trade Dayan Viciedo? The best you could hope for is a Viciedo-in-waiting. .649 OPS after this "monster" hot streak.
  18. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 17, 2012 -> 08:41 PM) geeez they don't play again til Sunday Yet the Lakers and Thunder play Friday AND Saturday.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ May 17, 2012 -> 10:23 AM) I thought both pitches to Lawrie were close enough to be called strikes. They really weren't, though.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 17, 2012 -> 10:09 AM) This has a good start in that it's Chicago post-apocalypse so it's all over grown. If they do it right this could be a huge hit that sorta feeds on the The Walking Dead popularity (different factions in a lawless society) But it won't... sadly NBC dramas have gotten so bad that no one will watch it. I do not predict a season 2 for "Revolution".
